My Airport has dropped to Number 10 All the way from number 6. What's happening in Tokyo? Atlanta will always remain number 1. It's crazy there! Man really need touch that place... I'm just afraid of mishaps |

There should be a clarification regarding why these airports are busy. It's primarily because of their location - they are strategic connecting points. Take Atlanta/Denver for example, most of the folks are just connecting at these airports. They never step foot in the city of Atlanta/Denver at all. But because of their locations these airports are very busy. Atlanta's airport is delta's primary hub and the gateway to the entire South Eastern US. Denver is one of United's hubs and the gateway to the Western USA. Chicago's ORD is United's main hub, and the primary gateway to the Midwest cities. Same for the other airports, they are mainly connecting points. |

JuanDeDios: So Abakaliki airport is now your standard for measurement? FYI,Anambra,Portharcourt, Asaba,Enugu and owerri airports are not far from each other yer the record huge traffic every year. Meanwhile oyo state is slightly less than the 5 se states with no single standard airport. What about ekiti? So someone from faraway ogun state will travel to lagos on road inorder to board an airplane going to Abuja? Is that your logic? It simply means, you have insignificant number of middle class in your region and majority lower class...your high class are all living in lagos. Not all cities have underground trains but airport is a common infrastructure in a bustling city or nearby. |

So no Chinese airport make the list ? Despite that China is the second largest economy after US. |

Re: Busiest International Airports In The World. by JuanDeDios: 9:47pm On Sep 13, 2023 |
Ozommadu:International airports nobody is using is how you measure "middle class", not real infrastructure and regular airports that are adequate for the city. I told you you're a genius. You don't even know what you're talking about so you don't know Ekiti has an airport. Name ONE state in the SW that doesn't have an airport and isn't building one? Mention the state. Your problem is that they're non-"standard" - because Oyo SG isn't foolish enough to build an "international airport" one hour drive from Lagos and have it end up like Abakaliki Airport, a monumental waste or resources that nobody is using in a state that can use more roads. And go on lying to yourself that Asaba Airport has "huge traffic". "So someone from FARAWAY ogun state will travel to lagos on road inorder to board an airplane going to Abuja?" Seriously? It's the fact that people like you are allowed to vote that is the problem with democracy. Good bye and go on with the tribal war you children fight on NL. Don't forget to build a STANDARD airport in every village in your state because middle class. |

Re: Busiest International Airports In The World. by Ozommadu: 11:13pm On Sep 13, 2023 |
JuanDeDios: Is Abakaliki the only airport in the east? You say ekiti has airport? The uncompleted abandoned poultry you call airport abi the Ibadan grazing field you call airport? Leave Abakaliki alone, its not the only airport in igboland. Edo has airport, delta has and rivers too...are these three states not close to each other? Your people can't afford to fly that's why even the poor airport built is in a terrible state now |

I have used 3 of these airports before and they are indeed busy. The list did not include JFK, Newyork. Nearly missed my flights on two different occasions at Atlanta |
