So I was out this evening to buy something at Area 2 shopping complex in Abuja. As I entered my car and about to turn and go home, a young lady driving a big SUV car stopped by my side lower her window and she greeted me, when I answered she asked whether I can help her out, so I was like ok go on, thinking maybe she's lost and asking for directions, but to my utmost surprise she asked me to please give her some cash to buy fuel because she's running out of fuel and she has no money to buy fuel and she needs to go to Apo.

I just shook my head and told her sorry and I zoomed off. I don't know if any of you ever had this experience here in Abuja too?

Oga only wicked people will behave this way you reacted to someone who need your help. I know your type will be forming born again. Muslims helps people when you are stranded than my so called christain brothers

It is irresponsible to expect something from someone you never rendered any help or service for; I think the lady is a disgrace to SUV owners.

If she didn't have money for fuel nothing stops her from leaving the car at home and take public transport. Alternatively, she could have borrowed the money from any of her friends, relatives or neighbours and pay back whenever she has the money.

All the while a guy stood on the other side quietly and waiting his turn

When I turned around to leave after paying, he told the attendant to put N2,500. Thats like 5 liters. I stopped in my tracks and asked him if he was a bolt guy and he said yes

I asked the attendant to give him 10k fuel and told not to pay the 2.5k.

He was confused and excited at the same time. He thanked me and I just drove off.

I feel happy being able to put a smile on his face. Try it sometime for a change.

She go carry keg join That was how they were doing urgent 2k those days,before guys released. They will give 100+ guys number.. Guy must chat her up.. She will now put them all on hold.. Start billing them urgent 2k.. Now 100x 2000 = E pass minimum wage.. And some heavy mugu go send pass 2k sef.. So I will not blame op for anything.. That was how I assisted a Yoruba man in a taxi at Ughelli going to Warri some years back , I assisted him with my phone for him to put his SIM card and made call .
We later exchanged numbers , he called to thank me later , later introduced me to one platform and made away with my 8k , then stopped taking my calls .

Since then , once I'm in a park or on the road , anybody who comes with a pityful face , before you even finish narrating your predicaments , I don waka leave you , Humans are so wicked and never reason that in scamming a good natured helper will make his heart hardened against genuine people who need help tomorrow.
