Everything Jumia sells is from Physical stores online

I can create one on Jumia now now.

And yes, every seller on Jumia knows there is a return policy. When you pay, Jumai would hold that money for a particular period, before they release it to the seller.

Jumia is not cheaper than your local Markets
Jumia is actually cheaper to me especially when shopping for smartphones.... probably because all the prices are listed and it creates some kind of competition because people will order the product with the cheapest price first

Jumai with their fake prices especially for gadgets. The worst aspect is the imaginary discount. Like I know the price of the long sleeve shirt want to buy is 5k. Why put 10k and the slash it to 5k or 6k like they are offering some huge discount.

I heard Obasanjo in the 80s, 90s used to shoot workers at his Ota farms for stealing

People will ruin you. Me don remove hand from running any business in Naija

I once tried trucking. I sent Mack trucks paid for clearing not knowing that the agent I paid spent my money and was banking on another person to pay him for clearing so he can use for mine.
This agent I've used him for multiple shipment and even introduced people to him for business

He started giving me stories the computer at port is bad, their bosses traveled to Abuja

I had to send someone else who told me my trucks have been waiting clearing for weeks and started incurring demmurage say if I incur to some level, they will auctionthe truck. I had to pay another set of clearing fees plus demmurage to get my truck out. After clearing I got in touch with a soldier friend to handle him but my dad called me to let him go and leave to God cos if soldiers injure him na my family dem go still come meet.

Na so I leave am. Like a year later after new year he suddenly called me, I even thought he wanted to repay back. Na so he begin tell me say for some time his business has been very bad, he went to a pastor to pray and they told him that it's because he cheated someone who did him a lot of good and until that person forgives him. I chuckled and ask that what of the money you are owing me? He say he never get the money but I should forgive him

Confess. Na Segedinho go meet one baba on your behalf run package on the guy head. cheesy

Obasanjo used to beat his workers if they stole from him. But the beating na military beating o. The type that at some point they would have preferred to have been shot.

But wait oo, with all these news about business failings in Nigeria, doesn't mean there isn't a middle scale business that can prosper in Nigeria??

If farming, transportation, property development is a problem, then what exactly can one venture into that will prosper in the country.

There has to be some niches that create some services that assure prosperity to the investors and owners.

For a long time, it used to be hotels in the east, because Easterners have far more indigenes than properties in the state and the aftermath of the war meant property shortage soo hotels were well stocked at various economic seasons. But large scale insecurity in the region now has hampered that prospect.

Is there something like that that can be replicated or invested in?

One of the fundamental problems facing business in Nigeria is that Nigerians are literally playing out aesops fable. Killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Unable to think long term. A person with no real future job prospects and yet he will loot his employers company to bankruptcy. And this actually occurs at all levels. Sometimes you wonder at our insane poverty mentality.

To grow your business you have to hand over the operations to subordinates while you chase opportunities. But the subordinates are likely to start raiding the company once your back is turned. So what do you do?

That's just sales tactics...that same shirt might cost 20k in a standard boutique

I commend Ghanaians for protesting about that. It shows the united front by the masses irrespective of party and religion to call the attention of the government.

Everyday na New inflation for here.

I don kuku pause business for now. Make i switch to something else for now.
There can never be a unified agitation or protest for anything over here, cos the country is divided along religious and most especially, tribal lines.

As Tinubu dey seat. Any protest must be tagged Ipob or another guise to destroy Lagos.

Also, APC has thugs on speed dial. So any protest means risking your lives against jobless APC thugs who won't waste no time to attack the peaceful protesters. This is why these corrupt leaders will continue to flourish and steal while laughing at the masses...cos they know say there are foolish suffering ediots ready to fight any dissenting voice.

Don't even think it.

Trust must always come before Love in Marriage. If you can't trust her, don't marry her. No crime being a Babies Father instead of having a woman you don't trust in your home as wife.

Why DNA? If I am your Wife and I find out you ran DNA on our child and it turns out he/she is yours, do you think I will ever love you again?

Disstroy asked some really funny questions and I hope he changes she to he and answers them too. How many of us can leave our phones with our wives or girlfriends?! LOL!

I can and I have, and she initiated exchange of phone passwords.

Once you are uncomfortable and jittery with such things is when women and men get suspicious. Some can voice it out, while some harbour resentment quietly.

Transparency goes both ways. smiley

Even if you are ready to personally monitoring it but don't wanna pay for watchman at Night, still avoid it.

She's a church girl? This is where you got it wrong. Overly churchy girls are some of the most hypocritical females on earth. She'd get banged all day and go for choir practice with no remorse.

She'd post bible portions all day on Facebook and Twitter while she's multiple dating in her inbox.

Here's how you begin to know who you are with: Do you have access to each other's phones' passwords? Can she comfortably leave her phone unlocked with you for hours unsupervised? Does she pick all her incoming calls when she's with you and speaks freely

If you can't confidently reply "yes" to all of these questions, then, dude, you are fooling yourself and being played.

Can you take her WhatsApp to search these keywords: "dîck", " penîs", "pûssy", " vágina", "honey", " period ", " test", "visit" and such words? Do so. What if she's archiving her messages? You need to reengineer your mind to think like a woman to get the kind of tricks they'd be up to.

Is she jittery when you are with her phone? Read her body language. That a cheating or flirting woman would stop when she's married is the greatest lie ever.

A wedding is just a public celebration of the emotional contract between both of you which was signed when you agreed to date exclusively. If she's sleeping around or flirting, she's broken that contract and the wedding is just you celebrating a lie.

Sanctimony is a weapon many females use. They realize perception is stronger than reality. If she can successfully encourage the perception that she's a good church girl, the reality that she sleeps around or is a chronic flirt doesn't matter. smiley

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by nihilistjnr: 2:18pm On Sep 26, 2023
I personally think if you have to do a DNA test, that marriage is over.

The DNA test result might prove the baby's parentage to be as expected, but it doesn't prove that the mother didn't cheat - therefore that suspicion remains unresolved.

Now the mother knows her husband doesn't trust her, and if she's actually innocent, there is no way to build that trust in the husband. Totö no get odometer wey the husband go use check mileage

If the DNA test result proves the baby's parentage as expected, but the mother is indeed cheating...now she knows she needs to be wiser and smarter in her doings. She's still going to be coming home with cum-stained lips to kiss him, but her alibi is going to be air tight now.

If the DNA test shows a different father, all that happens is that the marriage is over. Sometimes, cheating done smartly and with discretion is healthy for a marriage. What could have been a small non-issue forgotten in the mists of time, would have led to to collapse of a possibly otherwise strong marriage.

I believe the only civil use of DNA testing is to establish some sort of legal claim. The man that requests a DNA test on his wife had already concluded to leave, he's just trying to find out if he's on the hook for paying for his kids.

No man in any genuinely subsisting relationship will do routine DNA tests on his kids.

niggas have been compromising their standards for years that's why y'all lame.

First they tell you marrying a virgin is not a must ,now they want sell you the idea of having blind trust for women.

You see what's happening? they're selling you the idea of settling for less ,make una dey play beta males

The issue is this, you that is looking for virgins to marry, are you a virgin yourself??

Because the idea that men would expect to have as much sex as they like with different women before marriage and then somehow turn around to look for virgins to get married to is insane. They hypocrisy of that stance is mind boggling.

A woman can only be expected to be a virgin before marriage IF the man himself is a virgin. That's equitable and fair, isn't it?
