Sorry for being a bother. I have been waiting on decision on my visa for over 4wks now and I am past my resumption date at CU. Paid emails and calls to UKVI keeps giving the same feedback "awaiting a decision"

I have kept the school informed so far, but I am restless at the possible consequence of continuous delay in getting my visa approved.

What do you advice?

Good evening guru in the house , I did my biometric on 19th of August as a dependant and I got empty nsf mail without asking for additional documents on 29 of August. After waiting for couples of days without hearing from them I did a pay call on 12th of September i was told my application is still on awaiting decision. Today as well I made another call I was told decision have been made but yet to receive mail from them

I flew KLM recently. Total cost of the transit visa was a little over 50k. There’s VFS fees, one admin cost then UPS (courier) fees. Did mine in Lagos and it took about 4 days

Good morning all,
Please for a new marriage which the wife’s passport Carrie’s her maiden name and she now wants to do a change of name on her NIN. Won’t this change have any effect on her passport or cause any sort of contradiction when traveling.
Note: this is not for visa application as the visa is already out and she just needs to officially change her name on her bank account

Kindly advise if u have knowledge on the best way to go abt this.

Yes, i have.
I escalated it and their feedback was i should wait another 15days, and i do not need to contact them within those 15 days.

Latest day for resumption is 2nd Oct.
I didn't ask that CU chases my visa application on my behalf, i have just been keeping them in the know of any update.

I'm so sad, bother line depressed.

We have a similar situation. I had my biometrics on the 14th. I have done several paid calls and mails but the response was always, it is been considered and awaiting decision. But yesterday 26th September they said decision have been made but I have not received any received mail from UKVI. The major issue now is that my school, Cardiff metropolitan University is saying I should be in Cardiff tomorrow 28th. Who know whether TLS works on public holidays.

Hello

If you are changing your name do so in all your officials documents especially Passport and NIN

If you aren’t doing all ,don’t do any

My advise would be to wait till you are renewing your passport then you can change both NIN and Passport
