Personally, I believe eurusd should have been bullish by now but throughout this week, I have been shorting eurusd and winning because I have refused to argue with the chart in front of me.

I dont trade entirely on correlation but we can't ignore the effect of other pairs on a certain pair....
It helps to confirm whatever im seeing....

I trade only gu... I make sure i analyse eurgbp and dxy and sometimes usdchf because this pair greatly influence gbpusd movement....
With all the massive bull move on dxy, gu struggling because eurgbp is also dropping massively....

That's why I don't trade eurusd and gbpusd

Ideally, one pair is enough to trade but on some accts, you can decide to trade more than one pair

For me, it is better to trade pairs with weaker correlation levels like eurusd, usdcad, chfjpy, eurgbp, audnzd and eurchf

Strict Correlation depends a lot on volatility

Eurusd correlates positively with eurchf but one has a daily volatility of 70-100 pips while the other has a weekly volatilty of 100 pips.

This makes it feasible to trade both because the key levels will not hit at the same time except maybe for cpi or major news event.

I wished I never tried to smart out US30 and silver, I wanted to catch the pull back but it kept on dipping. I started adding more long and more long, until I hit daily DD. Today was just so difficult.
