News like this makes me remember Dr. Anifowoshe then of Lafia Hospital, Ibadan who treated my friend after he was shot by armed thieves without us providing a Police report. Others on duty said No, but he stepped forward and started working on him. He said we can go bring it while he is doing whatever he can do. We are not able to do that until 12 hours later.

Wale survived after several bullets were removed from his legs.

My GOD continue to bless Dr. Anifowose wherever he is today.

Police report for stab wounds?
Since when?
I thought it was gunshot wounds that was an issue in the past.
Sad case
I pray her soul rests in peace.

I thought senate passed a law addressing this issue few years ago.

Hospitals are to treat patients and repeat for police report later.

Watch how they will ignore this case. But if it involves any one of their colleague, they won't allow the Internet rest with all manners of fake hashtags and demonstrations. Emergency units only function when it involves the political class.....

in my own side, the victim is expected to be treated while his relative or the people that came with him/her are processing the police report.In the absence of police report, they are made to fill an incident form in the hospital to avoid police story that touches of one assisting (treating) a criminal

Meanwhile there are millions of Nigerians on nairaland and the streets fighting and killing themselves so nigerian politicians can keep flying overseas to treat a their erectile disfunction and headache.

General. PMB would have lost his son to that power bike accident if not for that compassionate, selfless physician for promptly attending to the emergency case at the time without minding who, what, where he is from at the time. At the end the family were ungrateful to him, they even threatend him. Instead of celebrating him.

U didn't hear that a former governor lost his life to an emergency case because he was not able to access medical attention on time.

Or Senate President who lost his son to gross negligence of hospital staff?

Do you know why almost all the leaders hardly use Nigerian medical facilities. They routinely jet out of the country to receive medical care or treatment.

A similar thing happened to a senator's son at Nigeria Police Academy Wudil. The young cadet died. Nigeria happens to everybody, rich or poor, powerful or powerless

Transportation must be regulated because of the security risks, biometrics, licensing control and even tags, cameras etc, can be mandated for all vehicles carrying passengers on the road, eithers buses, cabs, uber or cars...and there must be a central control system in coordination between police and FRSC, drivers licensing and plate licensing agencies. This synergy, under a system, all coordinated with simultaneous communications into a central information processing unit, will help in fighting vehicle theft, one chance, kidnapping etc.

Where are those protesting the death of mohbad,this is a more justified case than his. Note:am not in any way in support of his death or those agitating for justice cos every life matters.

Serious Accident occured on federal interstate highway instead of nearby FRSC officials that were just a stone throw away from the accident scene to promptly rescue and evacuate the victims to the nearest hospital, the officers were just focused on busy collecting bribes from commuters/motorists even after they were informed about the accident!

some of the staff ought to ve bn beaten to coma! wht were those animals in human skin recruited for? we just need to break law(s) at times so that these animals n ou leaders will learn n take us serious.

There are many reason this could happen
Number one is that the hospital might not even have the capacity to take care of such emergency

There's also a possibility the lady is already dead . But hospital staff should learn to communicate properly.

As for police report, hospitals have been asked to treat while waiting for report. But fear of harassment from police won't let them

In all , Nigeria has a long way to go

I will find out from my colleague who works there.

First,my thought is, how would the bastard who stabbed her be thinking or feeling right now knowing he had taken the life of another human for a petty thing. The hospital is secondary in the situation.

They should start by putting measures to curb it or it becomes worse than this. Cos, the one chance guys would become deadlier with the mindset of if I am caught, then it is game over. Why dont we go all out to protect ourselves.

How did we get to these level in this country, this is somebody's daughter, wife or mother, maybe she is the breadwinner of the family. They have deliberately deposited the family of this lady in total agony and grief with their wicked policies,that affects only the Poor. And as for the animal in human form that looked at a fellow human like himself and stabbed her, may he and his cohorts never know peace ever again. I pray God stands by and comfort the family she left behind.

Did the hospital set the rules by themselves to demand a police report Direct your anger to the right quarters

Most of the senior doctors in General Hospitals in Nigeria have their own Hospitals outside.

They don't take their jobs with the Govt Hospital serious but when you patronize their privately owned hospital, you'll get real value for your money.

An eediot in LASUTH nearly condemned my mother's leg some years back. So in this life till I kick jerrycan, I'll never patronize them. After all, all the expense you'll make, if summed up will still be the same as visiting a privately runned medical facility.

Anything runned by this country s government no dey get head.
