The truth is that Nigeria happens to us all eventually one way or the other. In as much as hospitals fail time and time again in its duty which is saving lives, the fear of the Police and its unprofessional harassment is the beginning of wisdom for an average Nigerian

I have said it before. There should be a strict punishment for hospital that turn down patients with emergencies. I pray a senators child falls victim like this, only then will someone do something about it. How can you call yourself a hospital when you don't attend to emergencies?

There are many reason this could happen
Number one is that the hospital might not even have the capacity to take care of such emergency

There's also a possibility the lady is already dead . But hospital staff should learn to communicate properly.

As for police report, hospitals have been asked to treat while waiting for report. But fear of harassment from police won't let them

Sometimes u people talk as if the law this hospitals are following was created by themselves. What u guys should ask urself first before opening ur mouth to speak against this hospitals is.

1, Is it truth that the Nigeria police made it a compulsory law that there must be police report before hospitals can go ahead in handling such situations

2, Since the law have been leading to death of so many Nigerians over the years, what has the Nigeria police and the Nigeria useless government done about it? Did they took down the law or the law is still intact?


If the law is still intact, then u guys have no right to judge or criticise any hospital for such a situation. Because when the Nigeria police starts their unprofessional madness and starts harassing the management of this hospitals, u guys will not be there. So chanel ur judgement and criticism to the Nigeria police and the Nigeria useless government.

in my own side, the victim is expected to be treated while his relative or the people that came with him/her are processing the police report.In the absence of police report, they are made to fill an incident form in the hospital to avoid police story that touches of one assisting (treating) a criminal
