Mfunkynation:You might be one of us that moved woth Diamond bank, if so then You might get it, but if you dont get it on time, then you need to go to your bank and get your alternate account number for NEFT transactions. Then you use it to fill a new e-dividend mandate form. I have been filling new mandate forms all over again for some brokers because of the alternate account issue. Those old diamond bank accounts have this unique issue. Some brokers will pay with the old account number 3 Likes |

Let us start by analyzing his statement. Na you and loco be the major jijo master, from how the market went this year, is it really likely that he turned 4M into 32M from the stocks he mentioned? Some of those stocks rallied at the same time. I am just curious. megawealth01: |

leparj: Zenith Bank interim dividend and any other dividend For everyone who has not received Zenith bank interim dividend, just relax especially for those who have been receiving through their mandated bank account before now, except for the first timers which may mean that your signature specimen is not with the registrar and if they have not keyed into the automation of collecting investors details from cscs. In any case, you can raise the alarm after COB on Tuesday 3rd of October if no credit alert. Note that payment of dividends is not based on the bank you are using because there is NUBAN (Nigerian Uniform Bank Account Number) which is standardized for all the banks and uniform with the first 9 digits to indicate the particular bank and the specific account in that bank while the last digit is just to check the validity of the other 9 digits. So the most likely arrangement as per payment will either be by surname, registrar's assigned account number or the registrars just obey a simple regulator's rule of dividend payment. Remember all transfers in Nigeria also involve NIBSS (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System) which may also have their rules of engagement. In all just calm down so far you are qualified for any dividend declared by a listed company, you will get it if it's not older than 12 years except if the law has changed based on what the federal government proposed some years back. 8 Likes |

@emmasoft, Please help me shed some light on this: I have an existing account with broker A, I now used the same chn to open another account with broker B, do I need to have a fresh mandate for broker B before I get dividend assuming I have the same stock (like dangcem) with both brokers? @Umargarr you don't need to fill another mandate. The Registrars who are in charge of dividends work with the CHN of investors when processing dividends and once they have it, irrespective of the stockbroker you used it will be processed. It's even the reason we encourage investors here to provide thier current CHN to a second or third stockbroker they wish to use in other to avoid any issues when it comes to dividend processing. 2 Likes |

decargne: Yes, everything and if they do a thorough job even other companies they handle where you have holdings will be credited if they are all under same CHN. For Africa Prudential you can fill the mandate online. However, before completing the mandate be sure your signature specimen is with them. 1 Like |

BUA Group has decided to being down the price of Cement effective October 2, 2023. According to a statement from the Cement manufacturer, the organization decided to bring the price reduction forward rather than waiting till when its new production lines were completed as it had earlier promised. Based on the latest development, the ex-factory price has now been fixed at 3,500 NAIRA per bag, 'so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction even before the completion of the new plants'. The statement further revealed that upon completion of the new plants which will increase BUA production volume to 17million Metric tons per annum, the company intends to further review downwards the price of cement by first Quarter of 2024 in line with earlier promise. See full text of the statement below BUA Cement reduces ex-factory cement prices to N3,500/bag effective October 2, 2023. We refer to our previous pronouncements regarding our intent to reduce cement prices upon the completion of our new lines at the end of the year, in order to spur development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors. As per the commitment made to reduce prices and following a periodic review of our operations for efficiency, the management of BUA Cement Plc wishes to announce and inform our esteemed customers, stakeholders, and the public that effective October 2, 2023, we have decided to bring the price reduction forward. As a result, BUA Cement would now be sold at an ex-factory* price of 3,500 Naira per bag so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction before the completion of our plants. Upon completion of the ongoing construction of our new plants, which would increase our production volumes to 17million metric tonnes per annum, BUA Cement PLC intends to review these prices further in line with our earlier pronouncements by the first quarter of 2024. NOTE: all pending, undelivered orders which had been paid for at the old prices will be reviewed downwards to N3500/bag in line with the new pricing from October 2, 2023. Our licensed dealers are also enjoined to ensure that end-users benefit from this reduction in ex-factory prices as we will monitor field sales to ensure compliance. What is likely to be the investors reaction to this news on Tuesday?
|
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 7:40pm On Oct 01, 2023 |
crownprince2017:BUA does not move with fundamentals. The man decides when and how its share price moves. He and his family own over 95% of the OS. This news aint affecting share price. On a good day however, a reduction in price of products should have a negative impact on revenue and profitablity or atleast affect future gains that would have accrued from their new plant. But then BUA is BUA. The fundamentals dey Rabiu hand. However, it can affect other cement manufacturers. They have to reduce teir prices or... And a company like lafarge no too sabi share price manipulations. 2 Likes |

ojesymsym: It's a possibility if your details particularly updated kyc from the first stockbroker is not at the cscs and sometimes registrars are lazy and investors will have to do all the wahala even when the system in place was supposed to mitigate it. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Deadlytruth(m): 8:44pm On Oct 01, 2023 |
decargne:Yes. I am an example. For the first time, I filled and submitted my e-mandate form last year with the intention to experiment it, and in less than two days later my Sterling Bank account which I entered as my preferred receiving account was flooded with multiple years dividends from companies NEM, AFRIPRUD, HONYWELL, ACCESS, COURTVILLE, and even others like CCNN and UNION DIAGNOSTICS which had even been delisted. If Africa Prudential Registrar happens to be the registrar to most of the stocks from which you are expecting dividends, then your stress will be minimal as you don't need to go to their office at all but fill the form right on their website and submit it without having to print out at any point, and in less than 48 hours credit alerts will flood your phone. 5 Likes |
