At least, the university have confirmed that he was issued an original copy (picked up or not). That is certificate verification.

With regards to academic background, our constitution is clear on MINIMUM requirement. In the case of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, this is fulfilled. You can present an unverified copy but you cannot forge what already belong to you.

That Govt college graduation Certificate of 1970 came before the establishment of the school in 1974 was also not confirmed by the CSU? That's why nobody should attend a mushroom or kangaroo school. True though in the case of certificate verification, your Oluwole can only sail through if an ORIGINAL truly exists. Your Oluwole is an unverified COPY making a claim that you have an original. Most academic institutions don't issue the original more than ONCE.

In the case of Bola Tinubu, the university have verified that an original was issued. That is the purpose of certificate verification and it was fulfilled.
