the women's team brought in very good players. the team had numbers but no enough quality, and apart from Ona Battle, I think the quality has been marked up over the summer.
both forwards as Russo's replacement, Miyazawa and Watson in midfield, and George filling out at left back are good additions. Irene Guerrero seem like a quality player also.
as for the center backs added, I hope they are better at ball progression than what was there last season. the defenders were good at protecting the goal and at set pieces but very basic on the ball, except maybe for Aoife Mannion.

I don’t disagree with you. We put in a lot of crosses against Arsenal and failed to connect with most of them.

Our right back area is our Achilles heel. It was quite porous. Arsenal had a field day and won the midfield (maybe because our ball playing abilities -defended and midfielders) is limited. They pressed our neck for the whole of the second half so it’s not surprising they got that equalizer.

We were so lucky to get away with a draw. Russo wanted to destroy us.

Ferguson didn’t even spend up to 500m in his 8 years with the Glazers. Pep has spent over 1.3bn in his 8 years at City.

If not for the Glazer’s stinginess, we would’ve gotten Aguero, Sneidjer, and other quality players. SAF would’ve left a much younger, fitter, more robust and more quality squad for his predecessor.
