The thing is in Nigeria we mistake mentally deranged people in the pulpit as hearing from God.
Majority of us are schizophrenic. That's a mental illness. We hear voices speaking to us, we see visions and hallucinate. We call that vision but it is what it is. Schizophrenia and cos we don't have mental hospitals and don't ever discuss mental illnesses, we dismiss them with prayers and fasting.

Stress alone can cause mental illness and we have loads of that.
We tend to take what we want and throw away the rest cos it does not suite our narrative since we profess to be spiritual.

Prayers and Pastors have decieved us, while gay countries are doing better.....

Our Doctors and Nurses and Youth have ran away finish to gay countries, we are here doing church program and confrences

Even Jesus mentioned in Luke 11:2-4
Genesis 2:15, Eccl 9:10, Luke 16:10, and 1 Timothy 5: 8 made Christians know that we need to work & pray for what we want but most Christians in Nigeria just want to pray and get what they want like magic . Even the Bible made us know that faith without work is dead. God will add more to what we have as blessings if the only thing we possess is prayers God will add more to our prayers and if we are productive God we add more to our productivity. Let me answer you with the following quote from the Good Book itself:

"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matt. 5:45)

God has already blessed every nation with resources and brains... So, in essence, He has answered the prayers religious people already prayed from the beginning of creation.

Failing to apply common sense and human intelligence will never be corrected by praying even for extreme lengths of time.
