Tribalism have eaten deep into your brains that you forget to know good from bad. If the mofo thinks he is not after stomach infrastructure, he should speak against bad leadership. Useless government with useless policies. Howmuch is gas, fuel, diesel, kerosene, rice, dollars etc?. You guys are not patriotic. You guys are nothing than tribalistic bigots |

Wujio: Stop deliberately missing the point. This is not about where the country is or isnt! It's about amplification of the ills of the country thereby enhancing its already poor reputation. Let's take a typical example. The CSU registrar said that certifying diplomas is not the usual practice of the university but it was done in Tinubu's case because it may be more of a Nigerian thing. Within hours, young Nigerians were aggresisvely retweeting that the CSU registrar said forgery is a Nigerian thing for the whole world to see! Not inly was this false, but it was an own goal! Can Tinubu possibly be hurt by this? An old wealthy man with nothing more to lose? Is he going to apply anywhere with that certificate? Logically, is it not the young upcoming ones that can be hurt by the wrong perception being spread around? Funnily, after spreading the false rumours they started trending #forgeryisnotnigerian. Why would you cut off your nose to spite your face? 3 Likes |

Let them wish please. If wishes were horses. They are confirming to us that we should never ever trust them to be in a position of power. If they want they can create their own country but they must leave our own. Their negativity and bad behaviour continuously spoils our name across the world so they should please not represent us. |

gonkin: This is not business as usual. The type of changes expected are not going to happen overnight. The total time lag for an economic policy can vary from a few months to two years or more, depending on the type of policy and the severity of the economic problem. For example, if the economy is in a recession, policymakers may decide to implement a fiscal stimulus package. However, it can take several months for the stimulus package to be approved by Congress and implemented. Once the stimulus package is implemented, it can take even longer for it to have a measurable impact on the economy, as businesses and consumers may need time to adjust to the new policies. Time lags can make it difficult for policymakers to manage the economy effectively. For example, if policymakers wait too long to respond to an economic problem, the problem may become more severe and more difficult to resolve. Additionally, if policymakers overreact to an economic problem, they may create unintended consequences that could further harm the economy. Here are some examples of time lags in economic policy: Monetary policy: It can take several months for changes in interest rates to have a measurable impact on the economy. Fiscal policy: It can take several months for tax cuts or government spending increases to have a measurable impact on the economy. Trade policy: It can take several months or even years for changes in trade policy to have a measurable impact on the economy. The length of time lags can also vary depending on the state of the economy. For example, time lags can be longer during recessions, when businesses and consumers are more cautious. Time lags are an important consideration for policymakers when designing and implementing economic policy. By understanding the different types of time lags, policymakers can better anticipate the impact of their policies and make more informed decisions. No one is wishing Nigeria fails, Nigeria is our only home, its failure profits no one. But its almost 6months down d line and things seem to be going from bad to worse. With The vigor with which Baba hustled for the presidency, one would think we would be feeling the positive impacts by now, but even the staunchest Tinubu supporters cannot say one thing that has improved since May 29 till now. A lot of us are reserving comments because we know good things take time but even the elders say that a person that will do well in life, you will know right from his/her infancy. Anyway, we are all here. May none of us die prematurely. Wether obi supporters or supporters of Mr President, we shall all see how the story will end and hopefully we learn from it this time. |

SmartyPants: There should be moderation in all things. in the bible the God never hid the sins of David, Abraham, Elisha, Peter, Moses, Noah and all the people he loved... Nobody hate Nigeria or wish her bad luck. when did calling out Corruption, Injustices and sharp practices translates to wishing the country bad. Although, it all boils down to our various prisms through which we view things. For example two of the largest money heist was witnessed in this country A.K.A NIGERIA AIR (84billion) and 90billion stolen by the Accountant-General... Those men are walking freely today and one was even nominated for a ministerial post. if not for this same SOUTHERN CHRISTIANS, probably he might have become a minister. I Love my country to a fault.... and will DRAG the HELL of any FOOL that will take it backwards |

tragergeorge: Are there no laws and punishment for currency round tripping? Why have politicians refused to enforce the law and jail offenders? The president cannot keep paying lip service to the issue of foreign exchange racketeering when nobody has been prosecuted or jailed to deter others. There is indiscipline and corruption in every nation on earth. The difference is that while some governments prosecute offenders to the letter, others cover up and pretend like nothing happened . A quick example....Policeman have been shooting unarmed civilians how many policemen have been publicly executed to deter others?? I'm not sure you know any. Your governors think they will not enter heaven if they sign death warrant of a murderer Lastly learn docurum when commenting on a public platform like this. You don't need to show us that you lack manners and home training. Cheers! |
