I did not mean that you need a relative or a job offer. I meant that if it is possible to show that you were shortlisted for a job or that you have started actively seeking accommodation in the province it would go a long way. Intent can be proved in various ways. For some provinces it is an exploratory visit, for some it is attendance of a virtual immigration session etc. So I advised to revisit the OINP website for clarity.

Sorry about that. Although I don't have similar experience, I am just trying to decipher what could be the problem.
Has the profile expired? If so, reassess yourself on the 67 points for eligibility.

you were on 67/100 before and the birthday took it to 66. Your ielts is probably not higher enough too. Rewrite and aim for higher scores . You are probably using only a bsc you can get an additional diploma.

I have an issue. So visa was finally approved on the 10th October by Accra. And its expiry date is 16th October ( based on medicals validity).

Counter foil online says expired as at today 16th. Note that the package has still not gotten to the PA.

Has anyone had something similar, how can I deal with this. My person is getting worried. They already sent a web form. New medicals booked for 18th.

Hi, I have been trying to complete my express entry profile to enable enter into the pool, already finished filling my profile and was at the signature session before submission, but I guess network was not favourable so I couldn't submit that day.
It's almost two weeks plus now and I can't seem to be able to access that page again for submission. Each time I login to continue the profile filling, it keeps redirecting me to filling out the eligibility questionnaire again, which I have already gone past and gotten a 'personal reference code'.
It's really frustrating because I just need to be able to access my already filled sessions so I can submit. Don't know if I mistakenly clicked 'start again' that faithfully day, hence why I can't access my filled sessions.
Please I need help and way forward 🙏🙏

When you bought the land, do you have payment receipts, bank transfer receipts, title documents issued to you? Include everything and do a letter of explanation

My sisters medicals was expiring 16th of October, Ircc got in touch with us early august asking if she would be able to land in canada before 16th October or redo another medicals. We decided to take the early landing option. We booked a flight and sent as proof to ircc. They sent passport request afterwards while we sent her passport to Vfs for stamping. Unlucky to us the passport from Ghana didn’t come back till 16th of October which means her medicals has already expired and she can’t come into Canada.

I am applying for permanent residency in Canada and my medicals was to expire on the 16/10/23. I got my passport request end of august 2023 and I submitted through Vfs Lagos for stamping but unfortunately for me, the visa validity on the passport was to expire on the 16/10/23 and the passport got back to Lagos after the expiration of the visa. I have already booked another medicals for 19/10/23 but I am very confused because I don’t know where to go from here…. Please has anyone been in this situation? And what is the remedy please….I anxiously wait for your responses… Thanks

Why did you guys take such a risk considering all the reported delays with passport submissions in Nigeria and Ghana? After all the stress and wahala to get ppr? Nawa o.. What would it cost to do another Medicals and just wait?

You have to start calling ircc repeatedly and raise webforms explaining your predicament. hopefully There should be a way out.

Same thing for you @sophzzy. You have to raise a webform and try to call IRCC.

Kenya should have been your best bet not Accra. Redo Medicals and start contacting IRCC back to back. People who use Lagos vfs are those who aren’t in a hurry or have deadlines to meet.

Even one isn't in a hurry, the length of time Lagos VFS take is unsettling, up to 8 weeks!

I sent my passport to Kenya on Wednesday 11th last week and it is already on its way back.
