You are mistaken. The Balfour declaration and the subsequent UN resolution gave Israel a dedicated area for their country in Palestine. One if Yassar Arafats genius moves was getting the Jordanian Arab refugees in the area to be called Palestinians. Their tribal/ethnic name was quite different and they were brought in from Jordan. Hence Jordan had rights over certain activities and sites such as the Temple Mount arwa where the mosque is.

The indigenous people who entered the land when Israel was in the dispersion were the Jahalin, al-Kaabneh, al-Azazmeh, al-Ramadin and al-Rshaida Bedouins. These are actually the people who have the closest ties to the land after the Israelis but no one is talking about them because they are nomadic desert Arabs.

Cyprus was a safe haven after WW2 as it was run by the British. The Balfour declaration and the UN resolution changed this. Jews then came in from every country in the world ( The Aliyah) to what was regarded as their historical homeland.

But Israel alerted and warned Gaza to evacuate before they started attacking. Israel only want to raze Gaza and hamas to the ground just for a revenge and not it’s people
