What she is describing is not Canada but life for those who have no one to help them. If she had parents to help with her bills, she would not have need to carry it all on her head. Make she go visit mental health therapist/counselor abeg.

You went to Canada to make friends, we that has been in Abroad for years knows that here is a hustling ground not for fun, you need to work, pay bills and take some home, as I can hear from her she doesn't want to do anything, she wants to loit about shaking Nyash, Doing Hook-up like they do in Nigeria. If you're busy with work and studies when will u have time for friends and party. Better go back home Madam

I feel sorry for her. It's so bad especially when you're coming from a socially vibrant place like Nigeria.

The western culture is so isolated. Hello, Hi and that's all. Anyone you take as a friend is just for drinks/party o, if you assume any other type of attachment, you're on your own except it's your nuclear family.

What I don't understand is why people act like it is okay to live that way. Even Africans keeping to themselves like the whites only to get to their rooms and cry out of boredom. Because nothing can come close to true friendship, not Netflix not studies not work.

She should try to visit Naija every year. Spend at least two weeks greeting and gyrating with family and friends, chop suya and drink our cheap beer. Enter club and shake body, not all that Tecno electro music.

i nearly suffered depression when i went to
study abroad because of loneliness.
it s not easy. At my age now i can't try that.
i can only visit there again on holidays and shopping
