Hello
Try doing a paid call, it seems to be a mistake, very unlikely ukvi will set interview that far, try reach out could be a mistake 30th is very far knowing ur resumption time is way exceeded could be 20th October they intended to fix it for even u can never know

Gam22:

I have just received an email for interview on the 30th October. I am going to try pleading with the school for more time and sharing the interview email with them hopeful they accept. I don’t know why they set interview for 30th after waiting 1 month.
Also I want to ask about POF, is it wise to take it out yet ? I have had it since June till date because my cas took from June till September to be issued before I finally applied for visa

30th of October? LoL this is crazy.
POF is certainly not your issue. they can only work with what you've submitted as financial document.
my advice is that you don't contact the school yet till you have visa at hand. if you contact them now, they'd likely respond that you should withdraw your application and defer. we both know that's not what you want to hear.

[quote author=Kunleop post=126489570]Good morning guys

Pls I'm asking on behalf of friend, the couple came in as a student and dependent, the wife studying but unfortunately she was unable to complete her study and the husband got a sponsorship job which they have switched successfully as the wife is now a dependant, so they want apply for IHS refund but they afraid cos the wife didn't complete her study.

Pls can they apply for IHS refund for both of them or d husband should apply for himself alone.

NB; it's 2years course

@duchess90 and other gurus in the house

go apply for ihs refund as long as your partner has 6 months payslip. He should be the one to apply on behalf of all the family not you that was once a student cos you are not in care. I got my first payment even when my wife haven't completed her studies
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by dduchess90(f): 4:36am On Oct 20, 2023
Hello

No you don’t need to wait

Once you complete your course on whatever date plus have evidence to show it’s completed you can work full time

Cheers
Iruobe1987:

Yes I am aware, I completed my studies this month but graduation will be next month, so there was an argument that we need to wait till after graduation date before working full time

Refund of what exactly?
You only get IHS refund when a visa isn’t issued.
They already got the visa and used it so IHS wouldn’t refund a dime.

You need to have access to the funds in your account for your maintenance in the Uk

Hello everyone
"I'm a student in the UK, with a visa that expires 1st week of February 2024, that is, I have about 3months left on my visa. I want to apply for visa for my wife next week. Will it be granted knowing the duration left on my visa? And if granted, will she be eligible for BRP? I've heard several opinions on this but I need to know the real situation especially from experience of people here".
Thank you.

Only those directly related to you can sponsor you. Mom or dad, husband or wife, siblings. Why not convince the philanthropist to send the funds into your account?

Form A is your best bet. However it takes between 4-6weeks, sometimes more. Other alternative is to ask someone in the UK to make the payment while you transfer the Naira equivalent to them. The only downside is that, you will be charged black market rate.

Her visa will be approved. That is not a ground for refusal. As far as her visa is granted she’d get her BRP. Follow the right procedures and provide all authentic documents & she’s good

Her visa can be granted provided you attach the necessary documents, but she will not get a BRP card because your visa is less than 6 months.

Ok. Just wanted to know if it's still working. Because it used to take months before. I don't know if they are faster now with processing it.
Thanks

Best way to pay tuition fee deposit from Nigeria now is through blackmarket send the money to someone in uk to help you pay direct to school unless you have enough time to wait for 6 weeks or more
