Bobomaigida: Well , even people with large opening balances have been denied despite having good account statements for one year. The key factor is how well the person can justify the funds in their account. Even if they have a good opening balance and a substantial amount in their account for closing, if they can't explain the funds, it's likely considered insufficient. This applies to everyone. Also, have you ever come across a case where someone was denied due to a low opening balance? Probably note from GCMS NOTE stated |

Canadian Student Visa ThreadHello to the gurus in the house. Questions i got this mail after applying for student visa . i would like to get an advice on what to do next Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee #Canadian Student Visa Thread Canadian Student Visa Thread |

Nbv1: I have watched and followed you closely on this space for long. What you do here is to discourage people from travelling to Canada by saying the negative side of Canada to people. All these while you've been writing rubbish and chunning our rhetorics and narratives to put fear on intending 'japarians' yet you are still in Canada. What is wrong with you? Stop discouraging People. Don't advice us. When we get to the river we will cross it. Nigeria is already a failed entity. Rest Mr Man. 13 Likes |

KINGTELLER: It will not affect it if you package the application well. I am a Canadian citizen too, I have sponsored 2 of my siblings and the 3rd sibling’s application was submitted Oct 5. I did the applications all by myself too. What I did is, if the person is a minor, I use my Canadian SOA and if not, I pay first year tuition and deposit living expenses into their account. Hope this helps. 3 Likes |

Wow, so much information on this page. Please I have similar issue with someone that hot refused. I applied earlier in the year and was refused. Now I have removed some money. I'm going to reapply again soon. Can I please have an idea on if there's noeed to be worried that 3m left the account or will they not check. If they would, I would appreciate suggestions on explanations too. Please. 1 Like 1 Share |

kc6964:A good opening balance helps in visa application, although application can also be refused based on reasons concerned to the VO... On my visa application as sponsor for study permit and SOWP which was approved, I provided 5 pages of 6 months Bank statements but @ the opening balance on bank statements i already had the funds available for Tuition and maintenance while funds keeps increasing from the opening balance to closing balance while avoiding lump sum.. they will also check credit vs debit transactions...bank account statements should also have atleast some verifiable source of funds ..I didn't do any source of funds explanation than to only provide business documents... 2 Likes |
