Please can someone explain to me about this Medical Upfront, I don't understand.
My dashboard is saying that I don't need a medical examination but they will inform me if it changes.
I'm confused.

Not really, remember you can change house at any point of time.... The address I used for my visitor visa different to my student visa and the both approved.

Ethanuella:

Thanks for your swift response. I was just bothered.

So do you mean that the different addresses used in both applications will not necessarily pose any type of risk? Looking at the fact that both applications are active

In my study permit application that has my real residential address, I included a property valuation report (in my husband’s name), and the report has my real address on it.

Hi Ozone. Just wanted to chip this in. I think we underestimate the power of sending web forms. In my case, after waiting 4 weeks, I sent a webform, my medical was updated to passed. A week later, I was impatient and sent another webform. Eligibility started the next day and PPR the next. I belive IRCC are dealing with volumes and sometimes applications get forgotten in the matrix. Although yours is still early days. Wish you all the best!

what country processing office did you send webforms to? cos i have sent webforms to Nairobi and Lagos...nothing yet. I submitted my application on September 17th and my medicals i did on August 28th hasn't been updated to pass .

Upfront medical is when applicants go for medical examination before IRCC requests for it. Applicants do this to prevent wasting time as you will only have 30 days to do the medical when IRCC requests for it. There are usually long wait times to get a spot for the medical exam.

Your dashboard is showing the normal message, if and when you pass the eligibility and a medical request is issued, the message on the dashboard will change to we have sent you a medical request.

Hello gurus in the house.
Please I work in a microfinance bank and that's the account my salary is paid. Can I use the account as my POF, or I should transfer the money to my commercial bank account. If I transfer the money to my commercial account, do I need to print the transfer receipts and do I need to show statement of account of my microfinance bank account as well or the transfer receipts is enough?. I'm confused on the best thing to do here.

Use your Microfinance bank. It has worked before. There’s no need to transfer it out. Also, ensure your money is sufficient and it stays in there for at least 4-5 months before you commence your VISA processing.
Good luck

Your offer letter serves as a major determinant but I’ll do a rough sketch.

Tuition fees multiplied by Duration
Plus
Living expenses
Plus
Dependents (if any)
Plus miscellaneous

Add it all together, then subtract the tuition deposit you must have paid prior to the visa application.
Good luck.

they can deny someone even after 5 months so it doesn't really count

Oga it has worked before,
You should know it’s been advised here times without number on the negative effect on using SOA from MFB.
Just before something worked in the past doesn’t mean it’s still working.

I believe someone here can attest to it, where he submitted MFB SoA and he was told to provide Commerce Bank statement.

Since your salary account is with the MFB, you can add it to show your income,
But if you can move the fund to a commercial bank, do so and provide statement of account from both banks.
