Israel bleeped up in making this look like a war. It's just simple attack which they should have retaliated and life continues.

For balance sake, tell your people that the Hamas bases are located underground schools, hospitals and mosques. When an enemy launches attack from these areas, the vicinity automatically becomes a legitimate target. There's no war without civilian casualties.
