Nestle is not a volatile or liquid stock.
While we agree the price will fall more , it may take up to six months to get nestle at bargain price. He has his money at hand now.why wait for Nestle when there are many stocks to give him instant returns......huh??
Haba, it is not volatile as price doesn't move much, but it is liquid. It is more liquid than JapaulGold and Chams.

Here is a simple liquidity test that I do:

*Sum the total value in the last 183 days (or six months).
*Calculate the average.
*5% of that average should give you a good idea of the daily liquidity that you can comfortably buy or sell.

Using my test, I should not invest more than 590k on Japaul Gold, 400k on Chams, and 5.9 million on Nestle as a trader.

Osmosis and diffusion, an important phenomenon in market research.
Yes.

Osmosis when retail investors are buying from and selling to institutional investors.

Diffusion when institutional investors are buying from and selling to retail investors

No sir. Take out exchange loss which is a one-off transaction due to currency devaluation, it is a solid result. grin

Lol, if that is the case, why are you arguing again? Seriously, concentration is not normally used in reference to solvent. Instead, it is used in reference to the solution as a whole. However, "high concentration" is used to describe a solution that has a large amount of solute. In that sense, saying that water moves from low concentration to high concentration is correct. You were right. wink

I was looking at it from the perspective of solvent concentration. Solvent moves from where its concentration (solvent with respect to solute) is higher to where it is lower. cheesy
You should have known that I wanted to type solute but autocorrect demon.

Yes. There are bids at 52 kobo but no offer. Though offers were available at the opening of market but all got cleared within 30 minutes. I just managed to squeeze in hoping to alight once sustained offers start mounting.

I made money in Dangote Sugar, from 17 to 60 and something. It's not easy. Most of my investments were made in 2020 at bargain prices. Some of them, like UCAP, have done more than 5 baggers, though I haven't sold yet.

This year, I played Accesscorp and GTCO, and both gave me over 50%. I am currently in BUA Cement, with already more than 10%. I don't need to be shouting all the time. wink

Over 3 million units of NAHCO are currently on offer. Seems your broker is bidding at the bottom price of the bid side.

Seems to me that UCAP has entered into the league of the FUGAZ in terms of price behavior and divided yield hence its capital appreciation potential from now on is very limited except an upheaval happens in the company.

. Bonus issue this financial year end if true may push it above N20.

You have a point there. However, if, after the bonus, earnings don't increase commensurately, then market forces are likely to adjust the price down. From now on I will only buy UCAP when there is a prolonged general bear which can pull its price down to a divided yield of close to 25% like it happened in Covid-19 time when it fell to as low as N1.8

I am not bothered about the offers. Asides from today, it trades over a million or less on most days and price will still close the same. That was what prompted my statement. I de behind the driver seat from km7. We will see where we're headed soon.
