I sincerely apologize to the thread for the slow progress made so far.
Getting the nomination committee ready is proving more difficult than I anticipated, but it's expected. Many of us have our lives outside of this thread, so not everyone can dedicate their time to the process.

Charlesemeka85 and Thegoodjoe remain the only committed members so far. Kog45, Bascovanveli, Komekn and Majoribanks have declined participation, while Thesupernerd is yet to reply.

Chriskels, Joebie and Andsungorilla, I hereby extend an invitation to you to join the nomination committee. I'd appreciate if I get a feedback sooner. Thank you

I accept on the condition of Supernerd not responding, however, if he does, I would gladly step aside and step down for the multi-talented physician.

...

The sincere fact is there are currently 5 Club goalies that are in positive light but have low pr. The PR Remo is doing for Bankole alone is more than the one the NPFL is doing for him. But Ojo seems to be the ones everyone has been talking about until lately. Bankole PR don dey come up too. Amas fans are everywhere too. The Journos and the club no dey really do any pr on social media especially. Bankole was impressive last season. His distribution especially aside his primary duty. I'll love to see Amas closely sha

All can't be invited but they can be at least tested.

Who is really the best in the NPFL?

Consecutive seasons, the one that's best in previous gets eclipsed by a new one. Ọjọ For example, his showing on continent vexed many about his ability outside the league. Add that to this crickets from NPFL too and you see why the fans choose who they like.

Why not try Nwabili. At least the South African league is arguably better than the NPFL. They have some of their best players in that league, plus it's a well organized league. If he is starting there consistently, then he has to be good enough compared to what we have been parading. Remember goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel went there, and could not make it.. lol

Amas Obasogie has kept 15 clean sheets out of 30 (5 out of 6 this season). Conceded only once. Interesting stats. Let’s see if he get to keep in the WC qualifiers and if he would seize it with both gloves.

Apologies for not being around much these past weeks. Been truly engaged with so much hence my little engagements with the thread lately.

If anyone noticed, for the past couple of weeks, I haven't shown up even for weekend games here. But for the Players awards, I will make myself available. Gonna have to force a schedule in for it.

Pardon the late reply.

I beg babami kog45 tell that guy to chill out of that mentality.

I av missed this forum so much. I was banned by one moderator on politics section over a comment. A guy call me slowpoke and wack individual because we have differences in opinion, I even tried to civil realizing that he has been on Nairaland forum since 2009.

Nevertheless, when I couldn’t take in his wanky-tacky I gave it back to him wotowoto in a vawulence manner and I was banned for a week.

I don’t understand people when something is arguable, the party involved has every authority to claim his the number 1. For example, it’s arguable that any one of Messi, Cristiano, Pele, Maradona, Zidane and Ronaldo is the goat and each and every one of them has the authority to call their self the GOAT. you shouldn’t expect Messi to say Ronaldo is the Goat vice versa
the argument is a matter of numbers not performance. Most decorated is just the number of laurels not about who is better.

🇳🇬 Top clubs from different countries are keeping close eye on Victor Boniface, doing fantastic at Leverkusen...

🎖️ He won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award three times in a row.

August: Victor Boniface.
September: Victor Boniface.
October: Victor Boniface.

Top impact.

Thanks guys for picking me, but I won't be quite disposed to discharge this duty this time as I did the last time I was involved. I have got so many engagements at the moment, so I would want to sit this one out for someone else so that I don't draw the team backwards. Thanks for your understanding.
