steady986:All thanks to AD without whom they won't even make the playoffs... You forgot they got swept by the Nuggets too. Beating the warriors is hardly a flex, sacramento almost did it... The warriors were terrible last season.... |

If averaging 29/8/7 and reaching the conference finals isn't dominating, then I don't know what dominating is. Name me 3 other players in the league that had a stat line like that and went far in the playoffs at the same time. I can only think of Jokic. But no, we're just hyping him for nothing. Like I said before, haters don't need a reason to hate. They just hate. |

Skrrrrrrr:So LeBron is the only player in the league who is not supposed to have help. He should do it alone. The standards you people set for my guy is just absurd ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 7:09am On Nov 13, 2023 |
steady986:Lol. Oga boxscore. The only reason the Lakers made it to the western conference finals was because of Anthony Davies. That plus all the free throes gifted you guys by the refs. They didn't even win a single game in the Western conference finals. Dominant player that cannot will his Team to a single win. Previous season they didn't make the playoffs. Before that they were in the play-in and lost in the first round. Lebrons averages haven't changed much, the deciding factor has always been the availability of Davies, or not. And you say he is dominating. Isn't it obvious the old man is just stat padding? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 7:12am On Nov 13, 2023 |
steady986:No one says he shouldn't have help Mr. Man. Even at his peak, he relied on super teams to win. I'm basically just saying he is not really dominating, he is just counting points.... |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Honlucas: 8:53am On Nov 13, 2023 |
Skrrrrrrr:Look at what you are saying.. Were the other teams not given same opportunity to win the NBA that year? Did Lakers just go to the final without playing anything? Did the other teams not play same match ? Sometimes you guys talk Asif una nr go school |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Honlucas: 8:56am On Nov 13, 2023 |
Skrrrrrrr:Saying all thanks to AD is funny. Was AD not part of the team? Is he a stranger ? Is he not a laker team Nd being paid Nd should play for Lakers? He stepped up u are saying if not him.. Na this place I know say some people talk like uneducated peeps |

What's wrong with Clippers? Four All-stars on the court and struggling to score 100 against a Grizzlies side without it's best player. The Harden trade hasn't worked out at all |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:10pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
kendrick9:One or two of those guys needs to come off the bench. Alll 4 players are quite similar and it is unnatural for either to defer or share the ball. With that lineup, they are not making opponents work hard because they just dribble, run the shot clock down and end up taking an ISO shot. They need some balance in their rotations. Harden should come off the bench and run with Powell who has had a good start to the season. I will also consider starting Plumlee and have Zubac run with the 2nd unit. Losing Gordon means they have to start Brodie who isn't a natural facilitator. Ty Lue is an experience coach, I think he is experimenting, I expect him to make some adjustments to his starting 5 and implement some of my suggestion, otherwise, it is going to be a long season for the Clippers. |

I blame Steph for the struggles of the warriors. He has pampered the front office for far too long, making dubious moves after dubious moves since Durant left. All this kumbaya, loyalty nonsense has to stop, and he needs to pull a "Lebron" to get a desired upgrade. Last year, the Warriors clearly needed a big going into the playoffs. While other serious people like the Lakers were doing an arms race, the Warriors stayed pat. They entered the new season again without beefing up the front court, and knowing them, they will extend Klay for a ridiculous amount even though he's washed and due for a trade.

etidy:yall were hating on me when I pointed this out last year. They should have wiped the slate clean when they had the chance |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:43pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
kendrick9:On paper its still good - they just need time and some humility. But I dont know if Harden can handle a rotation that has him coming off the bench some games. Harden can play better than this - he just needs time to get his legs. Only problem is, using the season to get in shape is an excellent way to injure yourself. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 7:08pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
birdman:I have felt that way for a while. I saw one stat & I was shocked. 11 games into the season, apart from Steph , no other warrior has scored up to 20 points. Very ment! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:02pm On Nov 13, 2023 |
birdman:In a heart beat! I can't get over his departure, especially knowing we have an egomaniac meerkat as his replacement. Houston looks set with the Rockets and the Texans and Astros! |

birdman:I think a regular Warriors fan on this thread was also adamant on the need for a reset and was hosed down by other Warriors fans. I can't remember the handle and I no get time to dig. |

Roland17:Shey we were shouting it last season when that goat got on the podcast and was doing the usual. I don’t even get why guys here are acting all surprised with what’s happening. Steph is just wasting his time tbh.

That Dillon Brooks contract is now looking well priced. The dude is not only taking less shots but is also making them at a very good percentage. All while playing incredible defense. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:51am On Nov 15, 2023 |
At the start of the season, I questioned how Pop is choosing to coach Wemby and the Spurs and JVG just alluded to my point. Basically, Pop is choosing not running the offense around Wemby this season. The plan is to allow Aemby play freely and build the offense/ roster around him next season. Josh Primo was supposed to be the PG of this current team but he ruined that plan with his stupidity. However, that doesn’t justify playing Sochan as the PG, especially when you have Graham on the bench. Their offense looks stagnant, lacks pace or direction. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:59am On Nov 15, 2023 |
A new generation of stars Maxey (76ers) Halliburton (Pacers) SGA (OKC) Banchero (Magic) Cunningham (Pistons) Giddey (OKC) Edwards (Timberwolves) Barnes (Raptors) Herro (Heat) I am not adding Chet and Wemby because they lack the body of work. |
