Chinaza93:Lolz... Well there are different angles to what you heard. Some say some of these things on YouTube videos and other social media platforms based on reasons best known to them (probably based on their own experience , their location in Canada etc.). Also the picture immigrants paint about Canada and abroad in general is not what it seems like. Finally, we can't use the outcry of some few people to generalize a particular situation. It varies based on different factors e.g. The Province an individual is located, Occupation in demand in that province and lots more. It's a case by case scenario. |

APPLICATION REFUSED!!! September 12th applicant Reason: only based on financial situation Sponsor: Uncle and myself as co-sponsor Uncle Paid full tuition of $18,789 cad. ( note my program is one year PGC) I have $6,000 usd in my Dom saving acc. I also submitted my Naira account with about 18 million. ( though I have 8 million lump sum which I explained in my sop was sent by my uncle (sponsor) for living expenses. I even included evidence of transaction. My sponsor submitted his company bank statement with closing balance of around 13 million , inflow 400 million and outflow out flow about 397 million Now with all dis, how on earth was I refused based on financial status. Could it be the officer that handled my application was having a bad day or could it be the officer made mistake. I have seen people on this trend get refused, and they reapplied with same exact document and get approved. My program is for January, I am thinking of reapplying, please any idea of what can be done different this time around. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated |

Explaining the source of the funds with the investment certificate is not always sufficient. Some VOs probe the source of the invested funds, especially when you disclose a low income in your submission. Collins399: |

Kenny4real68:It is actually an intriguing case owing to the fact that you seemingly satisfied the financial requirements. I am not an expert so I will advise u wait for the gurus in the house. However, on a closer look I observed that ur uncle sent 38% of his company’s account balance to you. Doesn’t he have immediate family and other extended family members? Did u put the proof of your uncle’s source of income and provide any sort of comfort that he will continue to have money? Things like contracts he has executed, MOU he signed, explain the kind of work his company does. Secondly, you provided a company account. Is it the company sponsoring you or him? You need to understand that a company is regarded as an entity different from your uncle even if the company is unlimited. You cannot say your uncle is sponsoring u and you are proving the sponsorship with his company account and without his own personal account statement. Did he provide an affidavit of sponsorship. The money he sent you , did he do a deed or affidavit for it? |

Kenny4real68:Your uncle should up his closing balance. He should have more than double of what he sent you...my thoughts though! |

danowena:He is the CEO and owner. He provided all proof of company ownership, including letter of Board resolution stating that his directors/ share holders ( nuclear family) are fully aware!!! He doesn’t have any dependant, all his kids are grown ups and are working. This was also stated |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by danowena: 7:43pm On Nov 18, 2023 |
Kenny4real68:Like i was saying you need to know that the company is different from your uncle (even if it is sole proprietorship). It is either that the company sponsors you or your uncle sponsors you. And you need to provide the statement of account of the sponsor. If it is your uncle, the company's account statement is not his account statement. And also provide proof of future earnings. Request your GCMS notes before re-applying. |

Kenny4real68:Your uncle should come in as co sponsor with his personal bank statements provide the account number and bank to be used as evidence in SOP ..the company account as source of funds only.. You stated that your uncle paid full tuition provide evidence of that transactions... You have 18million in personal bank statement minus 8million lump sum = 10Million plus 6000 dollars in dom account 6000 dollars = 8,232 Cad.. 10Million = 16,666 Cad You have total of 24,898 Canadian dollars which can sort maintenance minimum requirements.. You have paid full tuition fees, while you require only to show 10,000Cad minimum for maintenance but you deposited funds to your account as lump sum..the VO will believe the money is for demonstration purposes only.. If you have evidence of tuition payments from Uncle the 8million deposit as lump sum to your account is not necessary.. After the transactions your uncle is left with 13milion in company account = 21,666Cad official bank rate while you have 24,898 Cad excluding the 8million he deposited to you which is 13,333Cad.. You now have 24,898 +13,333=38,231Cad.. While the company inflow is 400milion minus 397million= meaning 3million savings in the past 4months or more.... Lastly.. The application will look like a self sponsor without prove of tuition payments from your uncle . |

Congratulations sir🎉🎊 Please, I don't understand something here. Do you mean you got your Permanent Residence Permit from Nigeria or your Study Visa only? Also, I've started my MSc. (Thesis) applications to Uni of Alberta and Saskatchewan. No dependants or something. Only me and my parents will sponsor me. While all courses I chose is 2 years, can I also start my permanent residency process from Nigeria now or I need to get there first and start after completing the degree? Do I also need to apply this way for permanent residency or I shouldn't bother about that for now? Congrats once again sir🎉 gideon19: |

Zannix:I actually did pro without paying a dime. I added my Card to it and when i was done with all, i cancelled subscription. I have forgotten the number of days they gave to use it for free but with the help of Adobe Pro, I was able to compress a file of 200MB to 3.7MB without loosing quality at all. |

Hello everyone, I need help on how to secure an accommodation in Saskatchewan Canada. I have been accepted to Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Moose Jaw for the January term of 2024, and I intend to travel to Canada by next month, December. I have been trying to see how I can secure an accommodation but it has been very difficult. I have looked through numerous websites, like kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, SPSA, and many more, but to no avail. Is there anyone in moose jaw who can assist me in securing an accommodation or is there anyone in moose jaw looking for a roommate? Thank you. |

Opamercy10:Thanks a lot, but I don't seem the understand the question dou. for Permanent Residency, I believe it is all about getting all the points. If you think getting the education/experience in Canada won't have any impact to your point, then you can start now with the hope of your score meeting up with the expected point that will come out in the next draw. Not sure this is the best place to ask questions around permanent residency dou. Thanks once again. |

Predator188:Thanks for this detailed explanation My tuition was paid through a third party in canada, the only proof of payment I have is my school tuition receipt. Hence, I will reapply using myself as main sponsor while I add uncle’s personal statement of account as co-sponsor. |
