In the New Testament, an adulteress was brought to Christ by the pharisees in ordering to tempt him as she was to be stoned to death according to the Mosaic law but He made marks on the floor for awhile and when He lifted up His head, He said unto them, let him/her who's without sin cast his stone and the people were not only surprised but embarrassed and left. He asked the woman to go and sin no more. Jesus Christ mission on earth was not to destroy the old testament but to amend it by the atonement of Sacrifice by dying on the cross He became cursed for whoever dies by hanging on a tree is cursed. His death brought salvation and grace which wasn't available in the old testament. It's by this reason that at the hour of His death the cotton of the temple was rent in to two giving every believer access to approach the throne of Grace without having to wait for a priest or prophet as in the old testament. Jesus Christ made amendments to the Mosaic law which is why Apostle Paul said we live by Grace no longer under the law for to live under the law like the Jews and sabbatarians is to live under curse but grace freedom. I pray you come to the knowledge of Christ and the Power at work in Christ Jesus.
