I bought 30$ from aboki.
I walked into a UBA branxh asked for a dollar prepaid card and filled a form.
Also Required was:
Nin, bvn utility bill.
They took my photo and fingerprint.
45minutes later, they gave me a Visa card and told me my account number (sent to my email and phone too)
Went to counter to pay in my 30$.
Went home and completed my AliExpress $20 transaction.
23$ was deducted. The extra 3$ is charged as Annual maintenance fee. No other charges.
7$ balance left in my àccount.
I will have to buy $ from aboki to deposit anytime I want to make more transactions.

The $3 should be activation/ transaction fee, the annual maintenance fee is $22, at least that was what I was charged last year.might have changed

$3 annual maintenance fee on UBA prepaid dollar card? Are they Father Christmas that they'd charge such a ridiculous amount? Don't be deceived into believing that! I got the card last year but didn't use it after realising that their annual charges was $19. Be aware that by the time the real deductions begin, then the reality will dawn on you. So, get prepared!

Really? I ordered 7 items on the 28th of October and the 6 which were shipped via Speedaf have all been delivered to me, some last week and some even the week before last. But the one shipped thru Nipost has been showing "Arrived at Destination Airport (Nigeria)" since on 14th Nov, and then moved to "Arrived at Facility" on the 16th Nov. Since then there has been no movement nor communication from Nipost, and I'm told here not to expect to hear from them till in about 7-14days.

Chaii nwanne nka bu Ife mwute, mine is that I made 2 order an angle P20i Earbud and the silicon case so I got the silicon case in 19days from AliExpress but the Earbud itself was processed via PostNL (Netherlands) which is now in Nigeria but no update yet and from the tracking I was told to contact my local post office which is NIPOST so I emailed them with my tracking code and they told me my item was shipped to their headquarter in Awka which I visited via Google map and that was last week Saturday but they don't work on Saturdays the security man told me to check on Tuesday you know Mondays are for Sit-at-home, so I'll check there tomorrow even though I'll waste money and time I don't wanna regret buying this from AliExpress and also NIPOST are very slow and lazy because this item got to them since 11th November, 2023..

Quit wasting your money & time visiting their office, they'll call you when your item is ready for pick up & tell you which particular office of theirs you'll come for pick up, get small change for hand for handling fee ranging from around #200 - #1000k

Whenever you have any of your good(s) coming through NIPOST, always comot your mind & wait till they call you for pick up, but if no call for pick up after like 65 days, open dispute

It could take up to 5 days or more! I once cancelled an order like that on seller's request. Na so I dey wait, thinking I'd get the refund the following day. Like play, like play, the thin no gree hit my account until the 6th day.

Customs ke! Something wey don pass through them already before e reach the local post office!
For the Postmaster to have called the owner for a pick up, that means the parcel has left Customs domain, never to return there.
