I earned exactly this amount 3 years ago while in nigeria before i relocated to Canada. Since I've been here, I've changed my car three times in 3 year, cars that included a Dodge Durango, a car in range rover category, all purchased cash and not on loan or credit. If you're relocating just because of money, you're getting it totally wrong. Have you ever asked yourself why those ruling Nigeria or in the corridors of power, have a form of dual citizenship or have somehow lived in some of these western countries before? No one says immediately you land in canada that one big office is waiting for you.

If you are smart enough to make 500+k in nigeria, especially as salary, i can tell you that you jave what it takes to be successful in canada in a matter of a short period.

My two cents is, if you want to travel, travel. If you feel nigeria is good for you, stay back. Everyone's measure of comfort and success differs, and whatever yours is determines the decision you will make.

I don't know where you guys get the idea of being a slave from, as if you're not a slave to your employer or boss in Nigeria. If you know how many Nigerians are in top positions here in canada, the word slave wouldn't be an adjective to defend your decision not to travel.

Myself and this lady who posted this video everyone is commenting on chatted on Instagram, and i can assure you that if you listen to her advise and not come to canada, she herself will call you an idiot.

She's right. Why would someone earning above 500k monthly with free medical (insurance), possibility of a higher pay(promotion) or new job etc leave Nigeria to be a slave. I won't ever do that no matter the issues, no 247 light, insecurities etc. I won't contemplate it.

This is the problem with most nigerians, we want ready made in everything, we are not ready to take the time and effort to build something to obtain the reward later. We want everything now now. There is nothing bad in jakpa just make sure you do your research very well and probably get 2-3 jobs processed over their b4 traveling . And I think that it makes no sense to jakpa because everyone are doing it, if you can make up to 10-20 M in Nigeria within a year I don't think the jakpa is worth it all you need to do is to invest more on your biz because only a minute of the migrants can save up to 10M within a year while working abroad.
You hardly see a well to do Igbo or aboki biz men jakpa , they would rather go for holiday or some biz trip

I agree with you, and I also understand that lady's perception. So, the thing is if you're doing well in Nigeria, don't jakpa. Don't even think of it because it's not worth it.
