It is so painful that this generation of Nigeria talents will not achieve or win any continental trophy because of NFF and Sport Ministry
So painful.
Now I understand why some people advise all this foreign born players to play for their birth country.

Rarely will you find a politician or a government official that truly loves this country and will make sacrifices to make it great.
From the president down to the clerk in government house and NFF inclusive none truly care for this country
chill bro, this generation never hit 30-35 mk em be like say na only one competition they hv to win something for the nation

you said a players quality doesn’t translate to what ever he earns in his club

Say the truth for once 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, it is the truth.. you can't judge a player quality by how much he earns at his club, because football is a career, and every career leaves room for progress.. a player earning peanuts today can start earning millions the next day.. Literally every player that earns big money today were at a point, earning peanut..
With regards to Nwakali whom the jibe is intended for, his carwer hasn't really progressed as well as many of us hoped, but he is doing well for himself.. from the Portuguese second division to Spanish second division and now the Portuguese first division in a space of 5 years isn't so bad...

That being said, I hope you haven't forgotten to drop your take in the nomination committee thread? You did promise to make yourself available for it, yet you're the only member yet to say anything so far

bro I never said some players doesn’t earn peanuts but my argument is that once that player shows massive improvement in his game and becomes important to the team and coach’s plan/tactics he automatically attracts discussion for contract renewal which comes with a better/bigger pay package

Also you sugarcoating Nwakali’s issue so far is a no no to me. This is a player that emerged as the best u17 player in the world years back but yet to make a name in europe since he left Africa 7 seasons ago

I accept that many promising youth players don’t make it in men’s football but my annoyance is with those always making case for him as well as making us believe he is the best that will turn the fortune of super eagles midfield around. Truth be told he is a low level footballer in europe and it’s high time we stop deceiving our selves with the illusion that he now plays in a top division league in europe. Any player in the portuguese top flight who doesn’t play for clubs like porto, benfica, sportin and Braga is a grade Y footballer 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There are players o. They are up to 15. Let me do copy and paste.

I think MBA deserves the legendary status. His goals were crucial for our last silverware
Yeah really crucial, still watched the highlights few days ago for both the semi and final of the AFCON on YouTube.

What I mean by the legendary status being debatable is that his impact didn't go beyond those two games.

I bet you that if nwakali is good as portrayed here Jpes would hv easily gotten tips about his form from his country

Baba forget the hype we read here always 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The thing is that when it concerns Nwakali few here will twist it and force you to feel pity for the guy for him finding himself in a lowly rated club in Portugal, poor weekly pay and not getting an invite to the super eagles

No be the same portuguese league Jpes got tips about Boavista’s Onyemeuche and invited him to the national team?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

you're just realising this grin grin

Nigeria is not a country it is a geographical location and company created by eu:ropeans ( the br:itish )..

from the previous to current presidents to the senators all of them work for the br:its and are highly paid slaves who are to ensure the citizens of Nigeria live in poverty and mediocrity..

they dare not challenge their slave-masters by trying to improve the lives of the citizens and even if they try the World Slavery Bank and International Slavery Fund will claim Nigeria's population is now 500m people and will negatively adjust the exchange rate of the country making the naira fall against other currencies which will affect the economy despite all the people ter:rorists have killed, malaria have killed, cancer has killed, sickle cell has killed, old age has killed and other diseases have killed people but they always claim Nigeria's population is increasing... grin grin

Yeah as a midfielder nwakali is better than aribo. I can say that to anyone anywhere. I stand to be quoted.
I can say it in front of guardiola fergusson or the greatest coach in the world.
Aribo is even better as a forward as in winger or support striker.
Playing aribo in midfield is like playing dirk kuyt or amokachi in midfield. It will be sub optimal.
There is no jupiter born of a woman that can convince me otherwise.
The issue is we have bad coaches without an objective scientific and analytical opinion of our players.
Peseiro rohr do not understand our players and their abilities. Play aribo as a winger or support striker and see a meastro but play him in midfield and see mediocrity.
Our coaches are doing guess work and dint really have a tactical formation or game plan
.

That is why we need player profiler, who we work in tandem with the coach and a psychologist to let the players know the importance of wearing GWG Jersey.

As for Nwakali once again, may fortune smiles on him and grace locate him. I am not been religious but he surely needs one

Some of us will do a better job than these make believe experts. Aribo is not good in midfield duties. Has never been. Just as Bassey is a better LB. There are many observations one can draw by watching these guys play overtime.

Nwakali agent full this thread. Agenda must agend...Nations cup is a month to go.
If you are advocating for Nwakali you should stand before the mirror and ask yourself what do I want to gain by deceiving Nigerians. A mediocrity is a mediocrity...his mates that won individual awards have established themselves after going through tough times in big clubs. Let Nwakali breath please. Allow him to find his foot and establish his career in a modest club first not relegation upon relegation clubsides that are not better than REMO STARS here.
Won't you be ashamed if Nwakali is called up just to satisfy you and Ifeanyi Matthew a 100% better player than him is neglected.
Please let us breath all Nwakali agent .

With all the hype around TINUBU i was expecting him to be different. A nornal smart person and one willing to manage his company well will first do a private interview of his nominated ministers to see if they fit into the roles they're picked for.

This politicians don't manage Nigeria like they will do to their ailing company maybe because they have no idea of what managing a business entails.

Your assertions here shows why you can't lace these experts shoes. Aribo best games has been as a midfielder. He was so good at it that his then coach berated him for going to Rangers instead of staying in England. Rangers played him in so many roles cos of his versatility and that became a problem at Southampton as the coaches does not really know where to play him. Aribo has created more assists playing in midfield than any of our midfielders in the last 5 games.
Bassey is good at both!

Sir, there is nothing bad in being a farmer and loving sport especially football after all we have good examples on this forum, like Supernerd, Majoribanks, Icon4 to mention but a few; who, if giving a chance can turn around the fortunes of our football despite the fact that dey have life outside sport;

But what I detest with passion is taking national duties with so much laxity which is unfolding in our eyes. “ I don’t know why he thinks I love sport or who recommended I (sic) to that ministry of sport. “ With this statement what do you expect from him?
