I hope majority of Nigerians aren't stupid enough to believe such a lie?

Who dashed us $360b annually to gamble?

Even America isn't doing up to half of that annually.

Gambling company prosper as result of huge unemployment.

It's good indicator of a failed economy.

Wrong analysis, gambling all flourishes in developed nations such as the UK.

Why do you think the founding Nigerian bookies got their inspiration from?

There's no millionaire who ever got rich by gambling. Gambling is a very regulated scheme to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

The most painful part? Gambling is a highly addictive venture. That's why betting is highly regulated in many first world countries but in Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world, gambling is a get-rich-quick scheme for owners.

Sadly, even our celebrities take money in exchange for their endorsement of the evil scheme.

There is NOTHING noble in gambling.
There is no millionaire... Some of you here ehn

The $950 million is not the amount used in betting, but the worth of the bet- that is to say the total amount of money to be won.

treatise:

Gambling is when you pick 40 games and place a bet of less than a thousand naira and expect to win over N20m ; sport trading/investment is when you stake 2 odds or less with thousands or millions of naira strategically though.

Strategically? 1.01 odds never cut your ticket before sha.

Even if one clothes a pig in royal robes, it remains a pig.

Gambling or sports trading as you tag it, is a subtle way of impoverishing the already impoverished.

More often than not, it leads to sorrow, tears and chagrin to bettors.

Win once, lose many times!

Gamble responsibly!

Win or lose, gambling outfits continue to smile to the banks!
