What's my chance of getting my study visa?
I paid a full year school fees for a 2 years program and made a gic deposit of 10k and my bro who's my sponsor deposited 30 million naira not with a deed of gift into my account as pof.
Will that be enough and do I stand a good chance with this?
Your chances are on the side of the VO.
1 year tution fee is good depend on the total tution fee for 2 yrs program.
10k gic will be in accordance with your 2nd year tution fee. That leaves you with compulsory living expenses and miscellaneous. Having obtain a whooping 30m from your brother, there should be need to prove the source of the funds. Is it for demonstration purpose , or not. What is your brother doing for a living and his payslip, tax clearance certificate and business invoice.
What is your work , previous academics does it suit the current citing the fact you are not financially buoyant to repay the loan from your brother.
Your fate is in the hands of a VO.. goodluck.

There is no such thing as how many months, could be weeks provided you meet the reason for previous refusal, and you are adding things weren't in your previous application, your DLi must be in accordance with Ircc list. Goodluck in your next application.

You can have access to your funds either using online services of your bank. Then again you can initiate transfer using otp if you are roaming your local number whilst abroad. As well you can send funds to your naira account using some platforms like sendwise, (patricia**)etc.

Convert all the pdf to jpeg, openxml, wordpad, edit and remerge amd compress. It's not a must you should upload pdf.. Ircc have different file format u can upload. Pdf is always huge due to its high pixel.

I would like to see your own monthly expenses

I’m not a student. My expenses are north of 6k.

But I have students whom I have brought in and helped settle with monthly bills hovering below 1500.

Hello gurus in the house.

A friend of mine is having issue booking appointment online for upfront medical. He couldn't submit the form because it's asking for IME number (screenshot attached).

Please can anyone help him with how to go about this

This Montreal seems expensive..health insurance for $1400 per year embarassed..while some universities offer health insurance for less than $800 for students...

Since your working and having income tax deductions..you can file for tax return up coming year ..if you have not been doing so..and get some money back from the taxes paid to the government...

Why spend $40 on phone bill/month when you have wifi@home am sure your school will have free WiFi for students..
Because it is mobile data purchase that can increase phone bill tariff..

Quebec is always different from the whole Canada.
If there’s any provider that’ll give me 6Gb or above at a good rate I’ll switch.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JapaPrince: 2:29am On Dec 24, 2023
When it comes to student jobs, my personal experience is that the warehouse clerk, security guards, personal care providers are some of the readily available job positions to newcomers and students in Montreal.
I stand to be corrected. But most students do these jobs and pay rate is always between $18 to $22.
Then there’s the call center jobs but their rate is too low $15/hr.
If you’re lucky you can get technical support beginner roles or land an internship in your field of study.
Be very careful on this forum alot of agents are here pretending to be helpers, even people who are already in Canada. Never give someone you don’t trust your application to handle. Success to everyone who’s awaiting their PPR
Merry Christmas

If you have dollar card buy dollar from Aboki and fund your account then use card or you can use UBA prepaid dollar card.
If you don't have all these then go for chipper cash but their rate is quite high.
For 150 Canadian dollar, it's about 142k. I submitted this morning
