Goodday everyone. I was offered admission into De Montfort university UK last month. I have paid my tuition deposit and received my CAS and applied for my visa but the visa is yet to come out. Please anyone who applied and is in the UK now. I read that a one-on-one registration will be done when I get there but I don't know when the registration will close. I would have been in the UK now if not for delay in my Proof of fund. Please I need more info about the registration cause I know it has started.

Check your emails and/or school portal for details on the International check-in and enrollment. You should have this information somewhere there.

Because this differs from school to school, only someone going to your school with similar start date can help.

I got an additional document request from ukvi to upload source of usd deposit into my DOM.

“Please provide the following documents:
Source of the following deposits to your Guaranty Trust Bank account:
**** USD on the 21st of November 2023
**** USD on the 21st of November 2023”

The thing is that i sold my usdt on binance P2p into my naira account and sold that naira for usd into my DOM account for my POF.

Now i am confused about how i should go about identifying the source of the usd deposits into my DOM account.
Please how do i go about this?

I booked a stopover flight to UK on 29th of Jan, but I have a 13hrs layover at Cairo in Egypt. Do I need a transist Visa so as to go stay in an hotel when I get to Cairo? Because 13hrs is actually long to just sit at the airport.

Really important you contact the airline for this information. I've heard mixed reviews on the layover experience.

A quick check on their website states:
Layover services shall be provided only when passenger arrive on last available flight and travel on first available connecting flight.
