Have someone to massage your feets.

please, just go to better government hospital, induction is not good at all , it would affect the baby's brain, sometimes the baby would become weak , if your husband has money let them bring the child out, it is the safest.. please don't do anything by yourself..

CS was our option, I signed the consent form and my spouse didn't have to eat anything. In the morning around 8am she was already in the ward. After anatesia, the doctor performed the cut under her belle line to expose her gauging uterus. The rest was pulling the baby out and the head was the last to follow.
I watched it like a movie scene with courage and praying.
At the end I smiled and the mother is OK and fully recovered. I don knack her one, but na slow slow 5 days ago self..

It is quite unfortunate and sad many times I read about these so called gen-Z's and the younger generation who are informed so much, but are less knowledgeable and intelligent.
Firstly, you come to a 'market square" to ask questions about what you should have discussed with your gynaecologist who is informed about your own unique body chemistry and the developing child. That doesn't show much intelligence.
Secondly, you should have known, if you're truly informed, that there's a unique chemistry between a particular baby, the womb and the particular mother. Artificial inducement of this separation could have side effects on the baby in future. You haven't even reached 40 weeks, the pregnancy is still in order. Why the panic and the unnecessary worry?
Thirdly, if you were really informed, you should have known the difference between a having labour pains (child wants to come out, but hindered by something) and child kicking (still taking in what it needs before coming out). Let CS be for only when the labour pains come and the baby is hindered. Avoid it as much as possible, only when the child and mother's life/health is threatened.

Finally, always stick to natural remedies and not artificial ones. Sex is an artificial remedy. It is like saying you will start drinking sperm up and down because it has zinc in it that is good for health! Do you know of other things that are not healthy for you or the baby in it? No wonder this generation like sex too much. Too much sperm on the head when about being born!

Waow! Congratulations Ma'am. This reminds me of wife's situation exactly One year ago. She was 'medically' advised to take lipton & glucose so as to flush the excess sugar in her system which formed ceaseless clots of blood & make the baby come quickly but it was later discovered that her cervix opening couldn't exceed 8cm & so she was operated upon i.e C. S. Though, hers was 40Weeks & 3Days.

The truth is if the baby's head is big...delivery may take longer for first time mothers.

Above all, try to stay strong, pray at heart & take away fear....you'll be fine.

I must admit there are really good and experienced folks here, as a novice all I can say is safe delivery.

I had to log in because of you! My advice: Exercise a little patience, you're already at the finish line.

Do not force induce a baby, please. For safety.

I was staying in a bungalow when I had my last child.What I did then was to keep climbing the front step up and down repeatedly.I had long walks daily.

The moment I realised I was in labor,I did the step climbing till I was 8cm dilated before I even went to the hospital.

There is always a way to improvise.You get it.

Oga should knack you slow and steady, morning and night. Lye sideways and raise your right leg towards your chest area and let Oga in from the side . He should ride you repeatedly, discharging inside, till you enter 40th week. Sperms helps trigger labour. Labour should happen.

Avoid Excessive in take of Fat and Oil and Milk, Diary products generally. Take lots of vegetables, especially Ewedu grinded without salt. Drink lots of water, watch lots of comedies, tom and jerry is good enough, be happy to say simply.
Have enough sex with your husband.
Have a journal to track your pregnancy
Speak to the child from now, speak good words and tell him or her to cooperate and not be stubborn

You don't need to do anything, but relax and wait for labour to come naturally.

To shock you, you may likely get to 40 weeks and beyond without labour, stoll relax if that happens.

If you pass 40 weeks, then you will be given extra 10 days waiting for natural labour, which if it does not come, then you will be admitted for induction of labour, that is, making labour to start.

Please don't listen to this advice. It works for some, while some may end up having excess bleeding and pains still no delivery.

You are almost there.
Depending on where you live, remove your footwear, treck under heavy sun for like 11/2 or 2hrs bare footed, the hot Tared road will heat up your legs by extension your beautiful baby will feel uncomfortable. He or she will pop out. My wife did it BT recommendation and it worked.
