Check any topic on the front page if you won't see someone mocking the Yorubas. Even on this particular thread, the first person to break your new rule is one "Indigenous something." For several years, it is the Hausa-Fulani that are being attacked and ridiculed. Did you do anything about it? For several years that the Yorubas are being ridiculed on this forum before they decided to match the energy lately, did you put up any announcement? You always want to make this thing look like it is a two fighting thing whereas it is one side trying to bully the others into submission. We have seen that side even bullied and mock people of Southern Kaduna and Benue whenever there's news of killings from that end, all because they exercised their franchise like every other Nigerian?
The truth is, if you continue with this approach, things will only get worse. You can't hit someone and still try to stop them from crying. Last year the agenda started from Prof. Oloyede of Jamb. Pastor Kumuyi and Adeboye got their fair share at some point. Even Prof. Soyinka and Asake were not left out. One of their leaders who should know better even called a whole tribe "political rascals." Seun where we you when all of these were happening? Can you point us to any leader or people of other tribes that have been guilty of everything I listed up there against any other tribe in Nigeria?

Nairaland is also a misogynist heaven.

The implication of this is that foreigners who want to understand Nigerian men are just a few seconds click away from Nairaland and it gives a cringeworthy impression of the mindset of the typical Nigerian man with the way they insult and pour diatribes on women especially Nigerian women daily on this platform. We hardly see women on this platform cos it's toxic to them. 99.9 percent are men (including those using fake female monikers).

For example, A man k!lls a woman and you see Nigerian men celebrating it and killing the woman the second time with insults while ASSUMING the woman must have been deserving of the murder and then making the murderer the victim..... The civilised world has peoples, ethnicities, or ethnic groups but some Nigerians keep describing themselves as tribes.

There's something wrong; imagine if a white man uses this for every crime a black commits, won't it be viewed as racism? Nairaland has a wide audience and if one continues referencing a particular tribe for every crime that a person from that tribe commits, it would create a stereotype, Imagine if a particular moniker points out the gender of a suspected or confirmed crimal for every crime that is reported that has that gender as the criminal/ perpetrator
