So, when Debbie made that tweet and feminists started dragging her for waking up to cook for a man who doesn't have a freezer (they dug up her old tweet where she said that she needs a mattress and a freezer), men took it personal.

Many women marry poor men everyday. Majority of Nigerians are not rich. I don't know why we act like the real world is not there.

Last week my sister told me our cousin is getting married. A young guy without a stable job. He still lives and partially feeds off his aged father. There are many women that love comfort which itself isn't bad and they would either get it or not.

I don't know why we see playing of wife role as an extra ordinary thing. Our mothers did all these as a normal wifely/motherly duty while growing up, I don't know why we started seeing it as a burden all of a sudden .
Even me as a single person, I wake up every 5am to cook food that I will take to work everyday.
