Of course. 1 Superbowl every 18 year average is quite the achievement

Shameless. You held back a good QB to appease your tingod hypejob QB.

His first year start he's leading the same team to the playoffs that Aaron Fraudgers failed woefully to lead.

Maybe you would have been in contention for the Superbowl had you sent him to retirement earlier.

Dallas Texas, here we come!
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 5:44pm On Jan 08
All Draymond has to do was sit at home and understand how his behaviour was dangerous and dude was contemplating retirement. Why exactly did Adam Silver talk him out of it? Dude singlehandedly ruined the Warriors. Fake tough throwing tantrums. Mtcheww.

If he punches anybody or does any nonsense again I want to see if Adam Silver has the balls to do the right thing and give him an 82 game suspension

I trust the late great David Stern.

What so with these 3rd Q meltdown. Another TO, stepped on the line..
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:37am On Jan 09
There you go Big AL
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:25am On Jan 09
Omo these Pacers are something else with the pace they play with. Big AL makes a 3 only for them to push fast and make a bucket. All these without Halliburton who left in the first Q with a Hammy
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:27am On Jan 09
Of course this fool doesn’t call a timeout for the final play. Thank God the ref called a foul against Hield.

Pacers challenging the call
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:30am On Jan 09
angry Call gets overturned.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:32am On Jan 09
The refs call a foul against Porz.. Jeeez

Let’s go home, the refs are bent on giving the Pacers the W at home
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:10pm On Jan 09
Lowkey Carlisle delivering a coaching masterclass in Indy.

Surprised they rallied to beat Celtics regardless of Haliburton's injury that looked pretty serious

Ja is out for the season. Basically lost a full season cos of his indiscretions

And Roland shey you saw a Dameless Bucks getting cooked by the Jazz of all teams.

I'm telling you that coach in particular has no defensive scheme at all
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:24pm On Jan 09
SGA to Reggie grin grin

Anyway na this era and it's inflated scoring and 3 pt spamming I go blame. Ignoring the fact that SGA has done feckall so far

Just 10 years ago. In 2013 before them say na Jordan time, You only had 9 players scoring 20pts a game

The last two years it is 44. 44 niggas are scoring 20pts or more. Guys like KD, Bron and Steph are putting up better numbers now than they were in their athletic prime.

The 2017 Warriors will not be top 15 in offensive efficiency today. Let that sink in

This should tell any thinking person that there is a proliferation in scoring. Scoring is easier and it is inflated. The talent talk is a myth

SGA is shooting 55% from the field. There's no guard in the NBA that scores better and more frequently at the rim than SGA bar maybe Ja. But why not, let's blame 3pt spamming as usual grin Una no dey learn new excuse? Always bringing up 3pt shooting as an excuse.

Baba is averaging a freaking 31/6/6 while attempting just 3.4 threes per game. Reggie attempted 6.6/game in 1996. So die that 3pt spamming when you're referring to SGA.

SGA is also leading the league in steals at 2.4/game. SGA is a much better defender, better scorer and better playmaker than Reggie ever was. Only a bias person would pick Reggie over SGA in their primes. Sentiments apart. I know we all like to idolize players of the past, but there should be a limit to it.

You put up a good fight but try harder

Why am I arguing with someone that doesn't understand that 3pt spamming essentially has opened the paint for players like Ja and SGA. tongue

Softer refereeing, 3pt spamming has generally made it easier for players to score today. And I'm not an SGA hater at all. I remember giving him props in particular for not being a spammer of 3pters but he's definitely being a beneficiary as it's greatly aided his ability to score at the rim

With your JJC and efficiency merchant logic SGA should be better than Paul Pierce, T-Mac, even Kobe.

The irony here is Reggie even for his era was not elite elite so using him to shxt on that era's talent is laughable. He was All NBA Third team a few times. Finish. But anyone with a clue knows that Indy team he was on was a crack team that took Shaq and Kobe 6 games in the Finals two years after Jordan retired

Let me know when SGA wins a playoff series, hell a playoff game. I'm not going to sit and tear down an up and coming player but he's not even there yet. Pump ya brakes.

One game to relish, the other with terrible distaste. Ant and Tatum were going against each other all night. I loved it. The Pels and GSW? I'm all galled up inside. It's sickening to watch how a team looking good on paper can fall to pieces for no reason whatsoever.
Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins, What exactly is the excuse for their failures? Right now the rookies and 3rd year students are doing much better on the court. The other day, it was curry getting 0/8 in 3pt shooting. If you can't get your shooting right, get into the paint. He would want someone to believe he is better than A.I yet he can't score at will when he wants. Fucck your 3s. Get me some midrange. Klay? I don't blame him at all. I blame the coaches for not putting him on the bench. When you have the 4 big dogs on the team being totally disoriented, what can the righteous do?
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:19am On Jan 11
These halftime scores are becoming ridiculous at this point. I mean teams are putting up 60-70 points at halftime!

Give’m the business Tatum! Let e’m know!!!
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:42am On Jan 11
The issue with the Warriors is multifaceted. The biggest difference for me is the steep drop in their defense. This has affected the pace of their offense, particularly their transition offense.

Another issue is that this is now an old team and can no longer play with the pace, intensity and player movement they used to be able to. The Warriors play a fast, intense style that involves a ton of movement off the ball, multiple staggered screens and with age, those tactics become very difficult to executive for the entirety of a game.

The front office also failed to plan well for this period. Steve Kerr is also not helping with his rotation and inability to coach outside of how he knows. Truth is, the players can’t play the way the Warriors are renowned for. Also, with the aging team and drop in pace, other teams have caught up in talent, speed and ability to also score the 3 ball in droves.

Worsestill, they have a payroll that is sitting at $490M and are now paying $276M in luxury tax. At some point the owners will inevitable have to make a decision because this isn’t sustainable, especially when you consider this isn’t a championship winning team.

I know this might sound absurd but Shai Gilgeous is a better player than Reggie Miller ever was. But one of them is a HOFamer and a top 75 player of all time. This is what we talk about when discussing eras. We look though their Wikipedia page and see that one was a Hall of famer and think he might have been better, but the reality is he wasn't. And Reggie Miller didn't win any championships so we can't use championships as an excuse to put him higher than Shai Gilgeous. Reggie Miller was a 5x all-stars and a 3x all NBA (all third teams). Shai Gilgeous has already made 1st team all NBA and is on course to make it this year again.

Why am I saying all this? It just goes to show you that the level of talent in this era is ridiculous. If Shai Gilgeous plays 3-5 more years at this level, it still might not be enough to get him in the top 75 of all time. This is not a discredit to Reggie Miller though. He was a great player in his era. But the truth is that his era was bereft of talent such that it was easy for him to stand out. That's just my take though
Shai is just getting started. Give him some years of consistency before having this discussion. Remember, beyond RM's individual accolades, allstars and all NBAs, he was once number one on the alltime 3pt list. He is also 22nd on the All-time scoring list. Him being top 75 is largely a function of the latter stats. SGA can't crack top 75 until he has won an MVP, and several all NBAs or until he has spent a number of years and reached a significant level on the Alltime scoring list. Rather than shitting on Reggie Miller, why don't we dissect reasons why AD and Damian Lillard is on the 75 list and TMac isnt? They are of this current era, aren't they? What are their accolades? Also, Derrick Rose, at his peak was MVP which is better than being all NBA. Why isn't he on the top 75 list? Consistency! Longevity! Give Shai some years to prove himself. Until then, Reggie Miller is untouchable.

I guess it's time to close the curtain on their era of dominance. Like you said, they are an old team and there are no replacements. Kuminga can try but he is no Draymond Greene. Moody and Podz? Smh. Unlike you, I jump from one team to another, one superstar to another. I only become you when it comes to soccer.

The Warriors are cooked. The fact that they think they're still in title contention with their roster as constructed is quite cute
