Vera Okolo was the youngest btw her and Stella but got the nod, she’s the most Skillful, Very Fast and her deliveries into the Box were good too…

Stella Mbachu got the skills too, very quick and her deliveries were also good..

Franny was very quick too, got some skills but some of her deliveries wasn’t that good but she had good games in the past..

Who takes over?? Rasheedat Ajibade isn’t that kind of a winger though because she look different from this 3..

Randy Waldrum Signs New Contract Extension As Super Falcons Coach

Randy Waldrum has signed a new contract extension to remain as the Super Falcons Coach, it has been understood. The American who took the nine-time Africa champions to the Round 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand signed the contract recently.

The details of his new contract were not available at press time but it was reliably gathered that the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF is yet to sign their own part of the contractual agreement. “I am reliably informed that Coach Waldrum has signed the Super Falcons contract extension the NFF has offered him,” sports journalist, Osasu Obayiuwana disclosed on Monday.

It was not clear why the NFF is dilly-dallying in signing their own part. Waldrum’s initial contract with the NFF expired in October last year.

The Super Falcons have crucial 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers to play next month.

“Is there any reason the NFF have not signed their own part of the deal? They have a decisive at Paris 2024 Olympics qualifier against Cameroon in February. The Falcons have not played in the Olympics since 2008″, Obayiuwana worried. The contract extension deal is taking almost three months, since his initial offer ended in October, and almost six months since the end of Nigeria’s World Cup run in August.

The Falcons will face Cameroon in the third round of the Olympic Games qualifying campaign between the 19th and 28th of February after they defeated Ethiopia 5-1 on aggregate in the second round.

Only two teams will represent Africa at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Having missed out from the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Super Falcons are eager to stage a comeback in Paris

The truth of this matter is Some Persons in the NFF doesn’t want Randy Waldrum again.
Infact them no need that Man at all.. it’s Aisha Folade that stood her ground that Randy must return, the job was already going to Justin Madugu who they will give peanut salary and then force players on him.

If you guys recall correctly you will see how Justin Madugu was bringing in some players of recent into the SuperFalcons team. Imagine Christiana Obia goalkeeper for Edo queens who’s more like a 3rd/4th choice there been invited Ahead goalkeepers that where playing regularly. Same with Glory Edet who he called up from Congo as if the Congo league was even better than Nigeria League in terms of Playing.

It was never his Intention to do so, they insisted that he bring them in for their own gain. Randy too was facing same situation but they Couldn’t override him that’s one of the reasons they want him out. Cause Randy Will always kick against Any Player they’re forcing on him who isn’t up to the standard he want..

Anyway let’s wait for them to complete the Deal. And Thanks to the Powerful Aisha Folade who have the good of the SuperFalcons in Heart.

I’m really happy seeing Yemisi Samuel with the U20 finally … She was the top scorer with the U17 squad that didn’t qualify for the World Cup few years back before dem Ajakaye and Afolabi set.

It was very clear that they were pushing Justin Madugu into the role as Head Coach, Thank Goodness is not going to work. Cause those Big head in the NFF will just start pushing their below average players into the team for their own benefits because some of the call ups were questionable and Randy was never going to look those players way…

Portland Thorns FC have acquired Denmark Defender Isabella Obaze from FC Rosengård for an undisclosed amount, pending the receipt of her P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Obaze has signed with the club through the 2026 season, with a mutual option for the 2027 season. Additionally, Obaze will occupy an international spot.
I am so excited to be joining Portland Thorns FC, they are a club with a winning mentality and I hope to help continue their success,” Obaze said. “I can’t wait to get started..

At just 21 years old, Obaze has become one of Denmark’s stalwarts along the backline following the 2023 FIFA World Cup, having started in four consecutive matches for the “Red and White,” contributing to victories over Iceland and Wales in UEFA Women’s Nations League competition. Obaze made her national team debut in 2022 at the Algarve Cup, starting in Denmark’s match against Italy.
“We became aware of Isabella quite some time ago, and as a result we have been able to see her quickly develop into an incredibly strong defensive player, well beyond her years. Isabella possesses all the intangibles which make her an excellent fit for us, both on and off the field, and we believe she will be an important piece for our club going forward,” Portland Thorns FC general manager Karina LeBlanc said.

Nigerian Father and a Danish Mother.. Good thing is she can Play LB and CB very well.. I wish Nigeria got her earlier on… Waiting till they get to that 20+ age when the players already declared their intentions of playing for 9ja is bad.. Let’s go for them if the talent is already Showing, going for them will be Difficult once they get to that Point except the Players really want Nigeria at all cost..

A lot of them are there with the talent’s already showing but NFF won’t even bother because of their own motives..

Aunty Onome has cut short her lifelong dream to mentor the young folks in the NWSL, as she's signed a contract with Israeli Club Bnot Netanya.

The club announced her signing on their Instagram page about an hour ago.

It appears our girls in Naija Ratels will have to wait a bit more to be mentored.

Good move for Onome.
