No, he's not.
He said that his mother is Igbo and his father is Yoruba. No confusion.

The part that got me is that his father didn't want him to learn Igbo and his mom didn't want him to learn Yoruba even while happily married and having 4 kids in process. That part stood out to me. What a contradiction in life.
You will think that both parents will want their kids to learn both languages.

A Yoruba father with an igbo mother. What a great combination. Why we are here killing ourselves with hatred and jealous.

Very sad story in how his dad and his mother hated each other’s culture and were trying to impose their own respective culture on the children. He said his dad would get angry if his mom tried to teach him Igbo and his mom would get angry if the dad tried to teach him Yoruba and because of that he never learnt any Nigerian language because he didn’t want to let any of his parents down by learning the others language and culture. Such a toxic environment.

wow that's a powerful documentary......Giannis is such a vibe, you know there's a way being on the world stage take away your root from you, this documentary highlights his Nigerianess, he is so Nigerian, the jokes, the vibes, the way he talks, the way he eats.
