The hypocrisy, ethnic bias, and bigotry of these northerners is something else. Are they telling us that the ex-governors from southern states whose names are in the list are not as important as their northern counterpart? Some states in the south such as Ekiti and Enugu even have the names of 2 ex-governors from the same state in the list.

And some of the southern ex-governors in the list are even prominent APC members who have served APC faithfully; I was surprise to see APC members like Fayemi, Timipre Sylva etc. in that list yet no southern socio-cultural groups or individual made any noise. Even Peter Odili who have a court injunction restraining EFCC from probing him was not spared. Who do these northerners think they are?

Anyway, evil must never be allowed to triumph!

EFCC must probe, prosecute and jail whoever is found to be corrupt no matter where they come from, no matter how highly placed.

It was in this same country terrorist Ipob was disturbing the east..and many easterners fumed at the government action against them..tell govt to focus on bandit..so that it won't look like IPOB is solely the problem..

Precisely. The North will never change. Neither will other regions. Why don't we all fight to gain the freedom to be what we want in our region without all the 'one Nigeria' bullcrap making us all to pretend to be what we are not?

If the North wants to be a region of poverty, disease, illiteracy, deprivation, corruption, death, terrorism, banditry etal then so be it.

Others should then have the right to ensure what some like in their region is not forced on them in their own region.

Truth is that Nigeria can never work as convened. We are all very different people with different outlook on life and very different ideas about what we considered an ideal society for us to live in.

When you accept this fundamental fact then the next option is to do what obtains in the USA where all States have their own constitution, police forces etal and, most importantly, the latitude to use their own unique endowment to go after what they want and not what others want as a general state of affair everyone everywhere must live under as is the case with Nigeria.

This is why the comment is often made that many American States are like different nations entirely.

It is still only the greed of leaders eating from the central cake keeping the wicked and inhuman 'one Nigeria' governance system in place when it should have been binned for something better ages ago.

What gets me so livid, as an example of 'one Nigeria' laxity, is how Fulanis, many not even from our Country, can roam freely around regions outside the North with sophisticated weapons, Nigerians are banned from carrying, terrorising the security of lives and property whereas we all know State or regional policing will stop their deleterious activities almost instantly.

I am not one who believes in criminalising all Fulanis but I believe their educated leaders take advantage of the average illiterate, jobless, restive and unexposed Fulani to transform them into hardened killers.

They can continue doing that but we must reject a system, I.e 'one Nigeria', that gives us no protection and won't allow us protect ourselves from invading marauders in our region that is not the traditional domain of Fulanis. It is just a very wicked and evil state of affair sustained by complete inhumanity.


OBJ said Nigeria was not ready for State policing and GEJ said same. Buhari simply ignored the issue. That is a cumulative 22 years (1999 to 2023) of ignoring life-saving surgery for Nigeria that confirms some of our leaders are truly callous and wickedly self-serving.

How many Nigerians have died since 1999 because of the archaic security architecture all President insist on enduring with mInky the discredited, highly corrupt, poorly trained and poorly motivated NPF?

Elsewhere, once solutions are identified they get implemented ASAP. Not so Nigeria. We now have no choice but to aggressively seek regional autonomy because solutions will never get implemented ASAP under 'one Nigeria'.

With Fulani marauders for example, the North would have no choice but to educate and train young Fulanis to be productive members of society when regional policing is in force.

This is because the impressionable Fulanis they are deceitful encouraging to kidnap and terrorise Nigerians will then turn their guns on the North full time when the South and Middle belt becomes no-go area for them because of regional policing.

These are the issues, if a focused and progressive people, we should collaborate on to insist the government deliver instead of comparing d1cks everywhere daily. We have to bring in real and drastic reforms to solve serious and debilitating perennial problems. I believe we will only gain those reforms under regional style of governance.

We've become very familiar with this trajectory and are, therefore, not surprised.



Whip up ethnic sentiments so as to give an ethnic colouration to corruption cases while alleging witch-hunt and victimisation of those accused.



Honestly, I agree with these groups that the EFCC shouldn't be used as a weapon of getting at some perceived political foes in the political arena.



However, if the EFCC truly has a substantial and verifiable case against those mentioned, it's incumbent upon them to defend themselves before constituted authorities as to their innocence.



These groups are political/judicial busybodies and should be ignored.



Corruption is not an ethnic thing but a canker worm which thrives in every tribe and region in the country.


Those paid agents of corrupt and politically exposed politicians had better steer clear of issues bordering on corruption.

So you think you are smart? He took them from the north and gave them to the Yurobas his kinsmen. What is the difference between Buhari and Tinibu? Buhari was even better, at least he remembered other regions in north. There was some sort of power sharing but Tinibu allocated them to his kinsmen.

What are the names of the Northern groups.. their executives. Let Nigeria know them. It is not enough to say Notgern groups, Northern elders, southern groups etc. Mention their organization names and the names of individuals in the groups. This is a case of corruption fighting back at EFCC.
