Thank you for your contribution. Actually we’ve gone to inspect the car and found out that some of features that made him opt for the accord are not in the Nigerian used one. It’s like the features were exclusive to the American market and removed from the West African market, like the lane watch, memory seats, parking sensors, lumbar support, etc. He has also checked the history of the tokumbo and the car was well maintained with just 60k miles on it (actual odometer reading from the vin). So he’s currently in the process of negotiating with the dealer for the car. Thanks.

If he can afford it then he should go for it
features depend on the type all these EX EXL
Each one get their own features
So that may be the reason

Hope you're fully prepared for the parables of a VW Jetta MK5 when it starts?

Your best choice here ought to be the Accord
Then Civic.

Why do you rate the accord over the Civic?

Hey bro. Acura TSX 2009... Love it!

I've always been a fan of Honda. So for mid range vehicles, I can call it home.

A colleague of mine bought a 2006 Toyota Camry Tokunbo. It was shipped from the US. 7 weeks later, the engine knocked. He sold it and got a 2010 Camry, in the 2yrs he has been with the car, he has changed gearbox twice on the car. Now he just got a Lexus. I have another friend who owns a 2007 Camry that burns oil like crazy. No matter what he does or what oil he uses, the car burns oil. He has also changed his gearbox as well. Two of my friends own Toyota corollas (bought tokunbo), both of them have changed their gearboxes. Personally, I own a Toyota Camry 2011 and fortunately, I have not had issues with my engine or gearbox. The only repairs and changes I have made are on the suspension, shock absorbers, bearings, shafts, etc as a result of our roads. I also have friends that have owned Hondas and other brands for years without any major repairs other than suspension issues. My reason for this long talk is that assuming those Toyotas that gave my friends problems were actually Hondas or other brands, everyone would have been blaming them for buying those brands instead of a Toyota. My point here is that, “you can also go wrong with a Toyota”. Toyotas are reliable for sure, but their reliability is easily seen because everyone owns a Toyota. It is easier to spot someone having issues with their Hondas/Fords/Mazdas because they’ll most likely be the only ones among their peers using those brands. At the end of the day, take care of your car whether it’s a Toyota or a BMW, and it will take care of you!

bro kingreign is right, as matter of fact, most people grow from civic to accord, so why not skip civic if your destination will still be accord, just that you don't know it yet. my two cent though grin

Accord are very solid on the road, well balance and speed so fast. I like the Honda Accord 2007 more than the Corolla 2010, I have driven both cars. And I also prefer the Toyota Highlander 2008 to the Accord 2007, the Hiland is spacious and good family car. The 3rd passenger seat can be adjusted for more cargo boot and the boot or trunk is large

Good afternoon car gurus, please what is your advice on buying a 2022 Honda HRV? How solid is the HRV compared to a Kia Seltos or Hyundai Creta of similar year? Thanks
