Hi Doctors in the house I planned on applying MBBS this 2024 Jamb
Between Unilag and UI which is more transparent with their MBBS admission?
And what are the criterias for getting MBBS in both Universities including Jamb score, Putme score and O level result?
To top it all, am from Kwara State and I could have gotten MBBS in 2023 jamb with 290 at Usman danfodio University Sokoto but due to financial means I didn't later pursue the admission😭. But now my Uncle promised to sponsor me by all means and he is suggesting I should go to Unilag or UI. I lives currently with him in Agura, Ikorodu Lagos.
Please I sincerely need ur honest opinions about this🙏

UI is the most transparent school I know in Nigeria

Just score very high in jamb and post utme

Usually an aggregate of 80% gives you a 99% chance already. I don't think UI medicine cut off has exceeded 80. In recent times. Was 80 in 2014

They don't grade o level. Just make sure it's a credit and above in your 5 relevant subject

I hope it is really what you want and your passion? When we say passion. It's something you enjoy doing. That even if you are owed for 3 months as a doctor. You still come to work smiling and not taking out frustration on innocent patients.

A footballer will still joyfully accept paycut or be owed and still smile playing football. I hope you do the same as a doctor grin

Team MBBS or nothing still exists in this 21st century grin. Well-done anyways you try grin

Congratulate him and shut up

Hi, everyone.
Owing to the current situation, school fees increments have become commonplace across tertiary institutions in the country. In light of this, I surmise that scholarship applications, among others, are somewhat nice plans to secure financial buoyancy for a rather smooth academic journey. How practical or feasible do you think resorting to this is? What other ideas have you on the whole of this? Looking foward to your replies. Thanks

Resorting to scholarships to alleviate financial challenges is practicable and feasible.

In fact, most scholarships are mostly won by medical students.

In as much as getting a scholarship is possible, I'll advise you not to depend on scholarships for sponsorship. Sometimes they don't come and some of them come by luck and chance. Scholarship should just be a means of support and not what you'd depend on for your education, as it may not come. Don't get it twisted, you can get a scholarship, all I'm saying is, it should never be first choice, so you don't get stuck.
