omotola90: Yeah he can disorganised the defence so that the other forwards and midfielders can score. He destroys the centre backs. A bit like firming even though he cannot play midfield. Also he will be a good wide forward. He is even better than most of our wingers as a wide forward. Very good player. He needs to start scoring though 6 Likes 1 Share |

If Rigobert Song use the defensive setup we used vs CIV to play us, do we have the grits to crack it down? This KO stage, we will need OTHER attacking threats asides VO to prosecute reaching the final, in game. What's the midfield setup that will neutralize Ekambi and Anguissa? |

As in eh.. The way people write off players on this platform baffles me. I see people clamoring for Musa to be included in the starting 11; same Musa that was bashed by the same people. Emotions and bias getting the better of us in accessing players. MetalJigsaw: |

MetalJigsaw:Yea for 1 hour Boy aint effective We have to try others to see what they can offer Moffi hasn’t even been tried in this tournament How’d anybody know Equitorial Guinea striker would be Afcon top scorer at the moment. Someone who plays as right back in lower tier division Moffi should be given his chance The match be like extra time thing 1 Like |

My sister it’s pathetic. It just seemed like we were jinxed losing Awoniyi, Boniface, and the Jpes preferred Sadiq. The only man standing who is a top man for that matter keeps missing chances that he would have characteristically buried. Its so painful coming from the reigning APOTY. I’ve kept hoping our attack will start to click, but it’s been the same match after match. Let’s not take it away from them. Lookman and Osimhen have really worked their socks off in this tourney but their primary job is to deliver the goods in front of goal. Expected so much from both safarigirl: |

Happy that we can all see that it is our players that have refused to deliver. Also shows that we have been creating lots of chances but not converting them. Initially people blamed the coach and even insulted him. I always said that they lacked spine but I was proven wrong against the CIV. Play with that type of mindset and anyone can be beaten. No one should insult the coach because he has done his job. We need to tell the players to do theirs. Come go think of it, we have 7 points and we are complaining. What do we want exactly? 10 Likes 1 Share |

akwesenana: Make una Dey calm down. Guinea is not super eagles and Guirassy doesn’t play for us. So whatever happens with them is none of our business. Our business is with the super eagles and our players. Osimhen can’t be misfiring in a competitive game like this (where all chances count) and expect us to all shield him from criticism. We were lucky neither Guinea Bissau nor Ivory Coast didn’t score before us. What do you think would have happened if they did? What do you think will happen in the knock out stage if our opponents score first and our striker keeps missing chances? Of course, we are on our way out. We hope Osimhen find his scoring boot in this next round because we really need it. Besides, Guirassy has only played 63 minutes in this tournament because he’s still recovering from an injury. His first game happened to be against the defending champion. Abegi. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Philosopher1979:We need his goals more than anything because it’s obvious that our attacking tactics revolve around “all ball to Osimhen.” Unless that changes in the next round, his goals are more important just as these things are important. 1 Like 1 Share |

Odunayaw:Guirassy has only played 63 minutes (which was their last match against Senegal) because he has an injury he still recovering from. You expected him to score 7 goals (with injury) against the defending champions within 63 minutes? 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw:All these Osimhen to the bench no too gbam in my opinion. I doubt Onachu and Moffi can hustle the way Osimhen does upfront (I may be wrong though). Like many people have suggested here, we need someone playing very close to him because other attackers seem to drift away from him since they all expect the final ball to be to him. The main koko is that he needs to start scoring the chances he gets. 1 Like 1 Share |

He was simply unlucky! No Ndidi and Iwobi both legs! Bonke got injured in Ghana. Onyeka the best player in that Abuja first half got injured did not play the entire 2nd half. He had 4 top midfielders injured, yet did not lose on both legs. No coach would have done better. Keshi was the lucky one. It was Mikel, Onazi, Emenike, Enyeama and Vicmo that carried that team. At the 2014 World Cup he lost just Onazi and everything fell apart. Give Equaveon is credit! safarigirl: 5 Likes 1 Share |
