Our side of the draw is the weaker.

Once we get past Cameron, we should be in the semis

NFF should please keep their own side of the bargain. Nobody is extending any contract.
Peseiro put his pen on paper promising he will deliver the AFCON cup.

ANYTHING BELOW THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!

senegal should watch it, their record against host is poor, wether monstrous form or not
Algeria 1990
Ghana/Nig 2000
Tunisia 2004
Egypt 2006
EQG/Gab 2012
Their elimination was a courtesy of the host country..they should not underrate CIV ooo

They're the most unluckiest group winners going into the round of 16.

"struggling for relevance, underperforming for the past two seasons" Iheanacho for Nigeria in last 7 months:

vs Sierra Leone ⚽
vs Sao Tome 🅰️
vs Saudi Arabia ⚽
vs Lesotho 🅰️
vs Zimbabwe ⚽

He started only twice, scored or assisted in every appearance.

Imagine what in an in-form match fit top of his game striker would do like IGHALO for instance against those teams above , teams we would call minnows where world football is concerned.

Struggling for relevance in his club and league not the national team.

Yeah, it will be even better if someone else disqualifies Morocco or Senegal before we have to play them.

If we can get the job done against cameroon, teams lying ahead of us are
Ang/Nam/CPV/Mau/Mor/SA…
omo back in early 2000 all these Angola, cape verde,, Namibia,Mauritania,SA all of them be walkover ooo..we would have been salivating and seeing the trophy ahead..but now no more minnows oo..all of them don crase finish🙆🏼
Others Yes, but definitely not Angola. That Team use naija eyes see shege. They stopped us from going to 2006 WC, they had decent players plying their trades in Portuguese league.

It’s best to keep an open mind, it’s up to the players now, do they want to return to their clubs or go all the way. The manner of play will be revealing.
I actually have a good feeling about the match. Let's see how it goes. I'm not emotionally invested into the competition

I hope we realize that CMR are also licking their lips at the somewhat weakened path to the semis/final.

Expect fireworks on Saturday.

see as Afcon underdog line up at the left side(except Nigeria,Morocco and Cameroon) and strong west contenders line at the right side(choi! Senegal,DRC,mali,b/faso,Equitorial guinea, egypt even CIV)
Those on the right will labor like Django to the finals mehn

they won us 1-0 in luanda and we played out a 1 all draw under the scorching heat of Kano state(blame on NFF)..okocha and figueiredo’s late freekick🤦🏽‍♀️…we edged out on head to head rule that year

I hate thinking of the self sabotage by Nff for that fixture. Senseless quota nonsense they used to jeopardize things with factors they overlook, no matter how small.

WC loss in Kano and Abuja. Both style. But Kano own too unique

Like Ighalo scored 100 goals during his time. Below is Messighalo stats as the target man. 37 games, 19G/A contribution in 2,350 mins.
Your good for nothing Kels as a WF, SS, etc 49 games, 23G/A in 2,947 mins. U dey cap wela I swear. That Ighalo even played when we had prime mikel and vic mo is even an added advantage to him.

I will go with Bright at RWB on Saturday. That Cameroon left winger is one of their biggest threats. And if there is one player I can vouch for to come out victorious in 1vs1, it is Bright.

Lookman and Iwobi behind Osimhen. Raph and Yusuf completing the Midfield. Omeruo, Ekong and Bassey at the back.

Ighalo even played in the minnows era where the like of Cape Verde, Namibia were the whipping boys of the continent.

LWB. BTW, Aina and Bassey give us tactical flexibility in case we want to shuttle between 4 and 5 at the back.
