Go to the embassy very early

Hi all

I am hoping to travel with my kids (4&2) to naija soon. They've got their British passport but don't yet have a naija passport. I don't think we'll be able to apply and get it within the timeframe we are hoping to travel. Can we do an ETC. Please is there anyone who has applied for a child? how was the process like and what's the timeline? Thanks.

You start paying when you switch visas. As long as you're still withing your student visa period you're good. You'll have to go back to the council to revise the bill as you're not affected until February of next year, unless you switch visas earlier.

Is this applicable to students without dependants alone or students with dependants. As some councils argue that students with dependants only have 25% reductions.

Guys, do these switching affect credit score negatively?

Worry less about your credit score and care more about your credit profile made up of factors such as your payment history; age of your current account(s), credit card(s) and utility account(s) because the longer they are the better; your address history ( stay put in and address for as long as possible if you can help it) etc . These factors hold much more significance than the much talked about credit score.

That will be done one day...

Regarding resale... last yr when S23 came out my mate helped me to buy 4 because his company has a partnership with Samsung and they get 15% discount, Adidas voucher worth £300 and cashback reward.

I pretty much trade-in all the old Samsung in the house for new ones, so i resale them but this yr the offer is not attractive at all so i bought only one.

Abeg elders which kind UK life be this...
Make person no go loose him sanity...
Got two different tickets for wrong parking and also another ticket for parking in my own residence car park o embarassed (funny enough I have been parking freely there for over 6 months)
When contested & enquired for the ticket issued, they referred me to my landlord whom in returned claimed its not included in the contract. (I quickly checked and truly car parking was not mentioned and I feel this was deliberate).

Massive compound and I can't even park
Nawa ooh

Please elders for the outside parking... is there any app that guides one where to park freely or paid? Just like waze for satnav...any for parking?
I don tire for ticket... this London no get joy

I plan to drive to Heathrow to pick up a friend on monday but now I am scared coz of locating the right place to park.

Abi make i sale off the car and gain back my sanity
The money way person dey manage, dem come dey collect
It's really disheartening
Please your inputs will be helpful

Sounds like a good deal. Been looking for a cheap way to get phones from the US and sell here

... But ebay will want to collect their cut and that'll chop into the profit. Do you have another way this can be done?

I greet the house o

I have a very important question to ask, so i joined this ajo group where we contribute £2000 each every month and we're 5 in numbers so in total someone is entitled to £10000 every month. I happen to be number 2 on the list. I have some fears and i need to know. Shey awon werey HMRC no go shook eyes inside this money as they'll be dropping it in my account with reference as monthly Contribution

Did you people read this story at all? That is a BSc student who has been here since 2021 and is on the final lap of her course and set to graduate in 2024! You people should stop throwing all international students into the fraudulent-plan-to fail-whatever crew please. The current Naira rates is a genuine, unforeseen circumstance.

Say una don scale through doesn’t mean you should lose your humane side and start throwing blanket, cold statements everywhere abeg.

Please pray tell, where would she have “secured” or “guaranteed” funds for 3 whole years if her guardian or sponsor says they don’t have. Make una dey fear God on this platform and not lose your humane side because UK showed you its good side. Haba.

You can try Facebook marketplace, yes i know that there are more scammers than genuine buyers but its winner takes all.

Ebay gives private sellers some sale promo every two weeks, so you take home more when you sale an item but if your profit goes above £1000 HRMC may get interested.
