You’ve got 3 options excluding selling your car.
1: pay for one of the private parking spaces in your residence.
2: look for private car park around where you live
3: Apply for parking permit through your local council

- First and foremost, get the right terminal, LHR got 5 terminals..........
- Don't rush into the car park, look for the Macdonalds on Bath Rd, park on the side street, stay inside your vehicle, or you might get another ticket.........
- Track flight on Heathrow arrivals website, don't go into terminal until 60 minutes after the flight touches down (or tell your friend to inform you when he/she is headed out through customs.......
- Or pay Β£5, and pick your friend up at the departure lounge drop off point........

Please o

HMRC said I owe Β£120 and I have been trying to pay since but I am unable to pay on their platform. Sent them a msg and got this but it's a bit confusing, I think the letter was even sent to my old address

Due date is April and I thought they would be deducting it from my monthly pay but it appears I have to pay using a card or something

Take out the payment reference number (it starts with X and will be at the top of your simple assessment letter) and then search for 'pay HMRC' simple assessment on Google, click the page and then select to pay without logging in. You'll enter your reference number and personal details and then be able to pay, although it's a bit finicky about which card you can pay with.

I had the same issue and had been postponing calling them until I saw your question and Tier4Dependant's reply to you. Paid within 3 minutes and got confirmation to my email immediately.

Thanks.

Issue is that the letter was sent to my old affress. Will probably need to call them to ask for the reference number

I have a very important question to ask, so i joined this ajo group where we contribute Β£2000 each every month and we're 5 in numbers so in total someone is entitled to Β£10000 every month. I happen to be number 2 on the list. I have some fears and i need to know. Shey awon werey HMRC no go shook eyes inside this money as they'll be dropping it in my account with reference as monthly Contribution

Hehe... thats not income/taxable revenue. HMRC isnt bothered abt it.

But the risk folks take sef. Tomorrow, stories would arise.

Why not put that same 2k monthly in an ISA (cash or stocks) and get interest or growth on it which is interest free? If you're worried about dipping in, a fixed term cash ISA would help.

For early takers, ajo/esusu/contribution provides a soft loan.

Exactly. Only the first few contributors win. I did it once and I took last, that was when I saw the whole scam in my eyes. I didn’t even need it because I was disciplined in my spending. The first guy wanted it for his wedding. Since then, never again, except I go first (as a soft loan).

Good day mates,

Please, a friend on student dependant visa has been assured of COS during interview with NHS. However, she has some fears whether she can;

1. Switch to work visa as her husband is due to graduate in September 2024. Some people say it is not possible for her to switch unless the main applicant has finished his M.Sc. Please, after the new immigration law was passed in May 2023 which forbids students from switching while studying. Has anyone holding student dependant visa in the same situation successfully switched or knows someone who has successfully switched?

2. During her visa application as a dependant to a second husband, her first husband denied her consent to include their 2 kids names on the application. The first husband has now agreed for her to take custodian of their kids and new husband accepts that as well. Please, If she applied for work visa as the main applicant before April 2024 when the new law against bringing in dependant will take effect, can she add the kids names even when their names were not in the first application and if she adds the husband's (presently on student visa) can he apply as dependant of the wife after graduation?

PLEASE ADVICE IS NEEDED

Hello everyone. I have a question please. I just got a job that I should be starting at the end of February. I have signed the contract and everything. But another company just called me few days ago and I have been given another offer to start with them on the 1st of February. Can I just email the first company and let them know that something came up. I no want any issue for this Uk. Help a brother out please.

I don't think it is an issue. I have done it before and many people don do my employer same.

I think what is worse is not telling them at all or telling them a day to resumption, when they have setup your profile and gone through other hassles

If the employer is keen on having you, they will ask what the offer you received is and try to match it

Even life itself is a risk, but this is not one of them. So there'll be no stories as they're known people and we work in the same firm. About ISA, i already have that set up on the side. Thanks for the advice though. Appreciate. Stock? Not considering that for now. Bless up bro

1. As a (student) dependent and according to the guidelines, yes you can switch in-country to a skilled work visa. The (student) main applicant however cannot switch to a dependent visa until course is completed.
