For transparency and accountability, President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Central Bank of Nigeria to take over the responsibility for crude oil sales from Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL). https://westernpost.ng/breaking-president-tinubu-moves-revenue-from-crude-oil-sales-to-cbn/ 75 Likes 10 Shares

Reformer. Lol. This is why he took CBN to his backyard so that it would be easy to transport the money in bullion vans to his Burdillion home or to the airport with the help of FAAN officials But, on a serious note, I suggest that Nigerians should demand a psychiatric check on their President. His many verbal gaffes during the campaigns and now all these decisions that don't make sense get me much concerned that this driver might just drive all of us into a lagoon. But then I know that Nigerians generally don't care. So,, I don't expect nobody to do anything. We are all good people. ExplorerReturns:Those "powerful people" that hide forex no dey CBN abi? Na angels from heaven full CBN. Na wah for this reasoning. CBN is created to handle revenue - which is enough job already - and not to sell commodity. Which juju sef dis man de use control people like this? 77 Likes 9 Shares |

Nice one. NNPC has monopolized and continued to enrich themselves since with our oil money. Though, this seems like an initiative to take the feeding bottle from the North dominated NNPC to the south dominated CBN. All the same, nice one #My_Opinion UmarFaruk98: Pain is that you? If you could read and/to comprehend you'd see what was in the boldened. Am I not allowed to speak my opinion? Or you think this is still the authoritarian govt of your past brother/president? Well, seeing your moniker I'd let it slide cos I know you can't read you quota reliant anserine . Ndewo 88 Likes 11 Shares |

If this is true and implemented correctly (not possible) I can bet with anything that the naira will regain value strongly. I laugh at those saying that we are not earning enough forex. The problem is that some very powerful people are actually hiding the forex revenue from oil in their private pockets. Nnpc should not be allowed to sell and tender receipts. They should only be concerned with production while cbn handles sell. With this, let us at least witness a reduction in corruption and rise of naira 159 Likes 24 Shares |

Is like Nigeria oil sales have been having terminal disease lately. Is like NNPC have infection, am suspecting is syphillis they should check the labia majoral of the olosho they have been fucking, also there might be genital warts in between. Perhaps they have been using the funds to treat an unrepentant olosho. Tufiakwa for NNPC. How can you treat symptoms without the remedy. 3 Likes |

Welcome development. Baba druggie is defanging the north with great alacrity. Move CBN to Lagos and hand over oil sales to CBN. The north thinks that Nigeria and her resources belong only to the north even when the north contributes nothing to the country 45 Likes 8 Shares |

I thought NNPC is a public company with a board ... someone educate me about all this interference from the Presidency ....Yes he is the Minister of Petroleum ..it doesn't stop anything as long as I am concern sha ..the cartels in NNPC would just get more sophisticated, if they are any ......Although it is good for check and balance ... I see operations cost going up .... 8 Likes |

We make enough forex to enable us settle our foreign currency requirements but the corrupt nature of nnpc has made it impossible. Let this form of accountability be carried out properly and we will be out of this mess within four years 34 Likes 7 Shares |
