Hello all, Please any particular reason why MRS is still at 126 for weeks now despite active trading activities? What could be the reason it isn't rising or even dropping, seems sketchy.

If oando delist. What benefit is this news to shareholders.
Oando is a gamble. If they delist, shareholders who bought above 7 will pay scholl fees.
If they dont delist, and if Wale does not short change investors, and if oil prices remain stable, then investors will make it really big.

I think all those in it already know all these.

Our ''Oando Prophet'' said Oando is not delisting!
Believe in the ''prophet'' God has ''sent'' to you.
He does not have to open a ministry or church before you know that God is speaking through him to you in the ''jungle'' of Oando

Cadbury may present a good deal if the share price falls far enough, like Eterna that tumbled down only to recover later. Cadbury has incurred considerable exchange losses, mostly due to import finance facilities (loans). If Cadbury's goods have a competitive advantage, the company should be able to pass on these higher costs to consumers over time. wink

Nigeria is sinking very fast and those hoarding dollars are playing a prominent role. How do we know the quantum of dollars been hoarded at present?
Can our Naira ever appreciate if we continue to hoard available dollars, no matter how much forex the government is able to earn?
How do we salvage our forex and economy with so many enemies? Home based enemies.

We should brace ourselves, prices of goods and services will still go up. It is better to stock up on things now because more inflation is coming. By the way, Hero beer is now 600 naira a bottle, a 20% increase just in January. grin grin grin

Insecurity looks like the biggest issue against the Naira.

Investments will naturally come in once there is good news concerning security. Less naira will japa to $$$s. But rather $$$'s will Jawa to take advantage of opportunities & value in an underdeveloped economy poised for growth.

Diaspora $$$s will return home along with non-diaspora $$$s once there is better security across the states of Nigeria.

No matter how much you increase price, a badly run company will always end making losses.
