We're fortunate in that most of our food items are locally grown so people can still eat and survive. The pinch is felt more in terms of transport and luxuries.

Even some of our beans comes from d country- Niger... Now, the poultry farms in the country make use of feeds that are mostly imported. Also, diesel is the fuel that trucks use to transport the locally grown foods from the North, farms to the markets.. Diesel in the North is upward N1,300 today
