you're really stupid you've run to europe now to bring prices when you see you've lost the argument.

no where was this thread about canada or europe it's about nigeria but since you want to bring in canada at least compare nigeria plans with canada plans. the 1gb is allocated data , it's actually unlimited just that its at lower speeds.

this your shit of saying 1gb for $19 is false. it's actually unlimited. plus he gets unlimited calls and sms. in nigeria you can never get such.

you're here screaming shit. you have no common sense. dullard!
Who said 1gb for $19 is false??
Go get your brain checked bro, your mental state is messed up already!
Your colour of maddness is critical!
The thread was never anything about Canada or Nigeria, but about data! Your f00lish sef quoted me & started comparing Nigeria to Canada? Who does that? Even an infant knows Canada is better than Nigeria, but your insistence on parading a $19 for a 1gb data as cheap bespeaks u have serious mental issues! Do they pluck money from trees in Canada? Because it is Canada we shouldn't say the truth? Even when there are better working conditions in places data are sold for €15 with your Almighty unlimited calls & texts grin Animal!

Like most of u guys, I'm a heavy data user. On average, I consume about 3-4gb daily and even more some days. I can't see myself purchasing plans like 20gb or 30gb etc... I'll just exhaust it in few days.

The best plan I've come to appreciate is mtn and airtel 1gb plan for N200. With this plan, I have complete control on how I spend money on data
how come you buy MTN and mtn one gig plan for #200?

Times are hard and things haven't been easy in the country especially since we had change in leadership in the country.

One of the most important part of our everyday lives are our phones/computers/gadgets and we know these things require internet connection.

How have you been coping these past months especially with how it looks like our internet data subscription are finishing quicker than usual.

Personally, I use the MTN 2.5GB 2 Days plan. I have been on this plan since August last year since the company I was working for decided to take business away from the shores of Nigeria because of the economic situation.

I don't know how long I can survive with this because my savings are almost finished.

So please tell us, what internet data subscription do you currently do and based on your usage, how well would you rate it as regards depletion and how long it lasts.

I'll be following in the comments.

Before you quote people note that it’s not only youths are are on this forum. Adults are also here on this forum. I have been visiting this website since 2004. I don’t know where you are then. This is the reality here. Their is no such thing called unlimited data, when you come here one day you will know how life is.

There are providers here charging 30dollars for 500mb . Everything is cheaper in Nigeria due to competition. To buy Houses here in Ontario now going for 1.7milllion dollars upwards and this is why your politicians always aspire to steal billions. They don’t need the billions in nigeria , they need it here because a billion can only buy just one house here.

You guys are lucky, this is what we pay for 1gb in canada, roughly N19500 in naira and the speed is as useless as something else only thing is it’s unlimited calls and text. Don’t know why canada is still very backward in technology because their is no competition only 2 companies feeding others.

I've read the comments by people following this post, and to be honest, comparing Nigeria and Canada data plans is like comparing oranges to apples and it's not so fair.

For instance, the 1 GB is data at full speed, and goes down to 250kbps when you exhaust that limit, rather than drop to nothing. Also, unlike in Nigeria where everyone is on Whatsapp, we mainly use the regular voice and sms for communicating here. In fact, many Canadians don't even have Whatsapp on their phone. You call businesses, offices etc using the regular phone number and I even know some old folks who only have a landline, so unlimited voice and data is actually a thing here and very relevant.

In addition, most of us have stable unlimited Internet via cable at home, so you don't need to use your mobile data at home. For example, I have unlimited Internet at 1.5Gbps download and we typical use about 4 TB monthly since we stream all entertainment online and I also host Plex server at home that I share with friends to stream from. Coffee shops, malls and some stores also have free wifi you can use in a pinch.

Whether you think the $19 plan is expensive or not in Canada may also depend where you are in you Canada journey. I remember when I first came to Canada over a decade ago, I literarily convert anything I wanted to buy to Naira in my head and compared it to Naija price, but now I only compare the price to my budget and pocket.

For sure, compared to our southern neighbours (USA) , mobile data is more expensive in Canada, but I think we still have better, stable, reliable and comparably cheaper (when compared by minimum wages in both countries) Internet than Nigeria

close your mouth iam an adult too I'm not a kid. which plan in Canada is 30 dollars for 500mb? Drop screenshots.?
And what do you mean by everything is cheaper due to competition? You must be joking let me just ignore you on that one.

things are far more expensive in Nigeria don't even go there. I've evidence and facts I don't do empty arguments. Nigeria is just a rip-off country.

yen yen yen for your mind there are no 1.7 million dollar houses in nigeria. you guys just talk shit. If nigeria was cheap as you claimed i dont see the sense why someone will run to another country to buy house. it makes no sense

a lot of nigerians are truly gullible because they don't know the hellfire that Nigeria is. a man born and brought up in a cage will think the whole world exists in his cage. he will never have a true picture of the world even if you take him outside...thats the current state of these two bombastic elements.
