This matter is waiting for SEC at 'Aluta' junction.

essentialone:
Most stockbroking firms now can be rated less than 30% in Efficiency and Effectiveness. NGX, SEC, and CSCS will pretend that they are not aware.

Soon, they will no longer be able to pretend about it.

KarlTom:
No be everything be court grin

Let's wait for SEC approval before the HC will order a shareholders meeting

It is part of the process by the rules.

After SEC approval, there must be a court ordered shareholders meeting to ratify before suspension

Is there a limit amount you can withdraw from your stock trading account?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 7:32pm On Feb 15
I don't think there should be a limit.
Processing time might vary depending on the amount being withdrawn... grin

NASCON
So far, there's no published newsletter on NGX for Board Meeting....
Can we say there won't be any more Board Meeting from NASCON, and that, the final dividend from NASCON will come from DANGFOODS as Interim Div.....together with that of DANGSUGAR?
Let's be watching sha....
The Board Meeting of Sugar will throw more light on this.
Just thinking out loud ni o. smiley
From the price gap between salt and sugar and what my mind is telling me, ... it's like only sugar will pay dividend this year.

Salt will likely pay too...
Why I said this was because of the closed period declared by NASCON in December.......
Also, Q3 was released, so the FYE cycle was completed.
Let's wait for actions and updates from them anyway.

In other news, the ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) model predicts that Geregu stock will reach a minimum of #730 by Friday, representing an 8% gain. The model also forecasts that Meyer stock will hit a minimum of #9.3 by Friday, representing a 34% gain. We will have to wait and see how accurate these predictions from the ARIMA model end up being. angry

The ARIMA model did not perform too poorly this week if we gave equal weighting to Geregu and Meyer, with 33% and -10% returns if the market ends this way, respectively. An equal weighting would have yielded a 12.5% profit. Honestly, I don't know if I would have personally invested in the Meyer stock due to its low liquidity. Let's see what ARIMA will predict for next Friday. cheesy grin grin angry

BUAFOODS and GEREGU playing a game of catch me if you can for DF and Transcorp respectively. In this game of billionaires, na to just follow the money and be patient. FA, TA, SA and all other analysis go take back seat
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mankind2024: 10:37am On Feb 16
Intelligent investors should take a holding position in Transcorp plc, the Geregu race is just starting.
Even, if you have to borrow money, do not hesitate.
Transcorp is now destined for bound N70 to N100 in 2024.

Amen. That will be excellent development for Transcorp.
The Power sector is a strong growth Area based on where Nigeria is at in power generation and where it needs to be shocked.
May the unleashing of the power sector materialize grin.

I am also taking a second view at WAPCO. There may be huge potential growth area there. In view of the FG's vision of building more roads with reinforced concrete using rebars produced in Nigeria.

Borrow what you can pay if things go south. I got a sum with 18% interest rate from GTB spread at 12months, 2022 November into the market. I am happy today!

I share your view but it depends on risk tolerance and money management skill and bit of luck not to borrow against a rapid falling knife.

Another thing to do is IF you have trusted people abroad, take part in their thrift (esusu/ajo), lobby for early slot. You won't need to bother about interest but you must have stable income so that you won't disrupt the flow and make enemies for yourself.

I prefer it to taking loans and I've been doing it for 10 years. Try it with your trusted friends or you can start one but people must trust you.

I'll rather join a registered cooperative. Some of them loan members X3 of amount saved at 5% to 8% rate but you must have joined 6 months prior to taking loan.

Yes, bank loan is easier but paying so much in interest can hinder generating wealth and gives almost no room for trial and error. Some people are good at OPM like Robert Kiyosaki, Pa Emma etc.

Nice structure.
Pa Emma has been mentoring us well even though we run rouge sometimes grin.

But then again my risk to reward was almost insignificant.
