I have a travel agency that said they can do Finland job visa sponsorship for me with 5-6m.

They'll get me an admin job with sponsorship letter to apply for work visa.

How can I know if they can do it or not....?

Bosses, please help me, I know agents are not to be trusted.

Do the following to be on a safe side,
1. Get a draft offer lf employment from the agent in collaboration with the said company
2. Contact the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) to verify if the company name (if provided above) exist in the list of certified employers. This is regularly updated so please request for the current version.
3. Get in touch with the company itself through LinkedIn or some other methods, you may use another uncommon nomenclature to check their claims.

The feedback you get from the above should tell you whether to proceed or not. This process may be difficult due to the "nature" or methods of the agent anyways. Do what you have to do to secure your money.

Goodluck

Entrance exams are done in Finland. And the embassy will NOT give a visa for an exam.

Also, getting an invitation for an exam is nothing, as far you meet the qualifications, you'll always be invited.

Where the problem is, is to go to Finland and do the exam, pass the exam, and also, pay the exorbitant tuition fees and bank statement etc.

Finland is unreachable to most Nigerians, especially if you live in Nigeria.

The only way out to skip doing entrance (that's assuming you have the money) is to do SAT, or, participate on a one year degree program online, then continue the second year in Finland.

For the second option, visit uaspath.fi, choose a degree, pay for the tuition fees (usually 10k euros a year), study online, and if you pass all your course, you'll continue your second year in Finland.

Don't give my guy false hope please. Finland right now is very very very difficult.

In the material world, you'll usually get what you want if you can afford it. Wanting is easy, I can want anything, the question is, can you afford it?

For a start, how much do you have? And do you have a passport, waec/neco certificate, and English language test such as IELTS?

I'm speaking in general terms. Yes some courses might be done online, but those are exceptions. Also it's freaking expensive.
Re: Finland Japa by maak400: 12:45pm On Feb 20
Which means those of us studying for free on courses.golab.fi are lucky not to pay tuition fee.

Although, the information we got now is that we may pay a reduced tuition of 4K Euros from year 2 if we choose to continue in Finland. Still unconfirmed though.

I saw it on their admission website in January, but I don't know if it applies to those of us studying via the goLAB platform, that's why I said I can't confirm it.

If you will study, then four million is not enough unfortunately. 4M naira is about 6k euros, it won't pay for your school fees even. You need at least 8-10k euros for that.

I mean, its a huge money, but naira have fallen so badly that when converted to euros, it becomes so small. If you can increase it, then try. It worth working hard for.

Or you go for bachelor degree programs. They are usually cheaper. Lapland university of applied sciences have the cheapest degree program. At about 4k a year, even better if they give you a scholarship.

I can't recommend any course for you. But go to studyinfo. fi, and search for courses that you like, also use the filter botton to search better. But I'll give you a possibility of relocating without spending much.

Lab university of applied sciences just started a four year engineering bachelor program called sustainable solutions engineering. So you study the first 60 credits (out of 240 credits) online, if you perform well, then from the second year, you can study in Finland for free.

The university will assist you to come to Finland, and tuition fee will be free. The country needs people in that field, so they exempt that program from tuition payment.

You won't find the link to the program on their website (I don't know why), but drop your email and I'll send it to you, so you can apply. I got it through their newsletter, since I applied there long time ago when I was like you, trying to japa.

Goodluck mate. May God bless your hustle.

Another prayer point now is let God help so that we all will be selected and that it is free tuition and they provide assistance for the relocation.

It's not possible for tuition to be free and still get relocation assistance for a bachelors degree. Just budget like 4k euros for early bird tuition discount/scholarship if dem too try and your POF of like 7k euros

Will the university enrol only very few people who paid tuition.my tots thou .all the same na prayer point as biggal said.
Re: Finland Japa by cyrilex202(m): 10:43pm On Mar 03
pansophist:
The biggest misconception about Japa is the idea that you must spend millions. It is not. You can have millions to show on your bank statement, but you don't have to spend millions. It may just happen that you only have to spend on the application fee, depending on the category you applied for.

For example, if you are a family member of a European citizen, then you don't have to show your bank statement, submit proof of flight, or hotel, or that you are coming back to Naija, and the application fee is free. You are literally just going to collect a visa without stress. In fact on the Schengen visa application form, it is written there that EU family members should not fill in that area. And the visa must be issued within two weeks at the latest.

And guess what? the embassy cannot deny you. It's against the law. They can deny it in exceptional circumstances such as you have ebola that can infect the public or a serial killer with the hobby of blowing up stations and airports. Even if you have been banned from entering Europe, your status as a child, spouse, or parent of an EU citizen redeems you and invalidates the ban.

If you have any family with an EU passport, you are a lucky child. Just go and ask the embassy for your visa.

But if you do not have an EU relative, then go through school. Don't go as a visitor, you will suffer eh? As a student, you just buy time for yourself like two years or more (depending on degree length, so you can know your way around, and find a legal route to make your stay permanent.

Pls pm me your number. I have something to discuss with you in this regard
