this one is just between us as Nigerians. We enjoy glorification of high prices and no body asks questions at all.
So the pure water producer lives in isolation? Is he not buying diesel to run his pumping machines, packaging machines, purification machines, distribution vehicles? Do you know diesel is 1600-1800 per liter? One 30liter keg is about ₦50k. If he runs generator of 12hrs, he will likely spend 100k on diesel daily assuming he is using a eg 30-50kva generator. 100k. How much pure water will he sell a bag at ₦300 to cover 100k on just diesel for generator alone? Staff salaries, nylon, maintainace of delivery vehicle, petrol or diesel for the vehicle etc. Guy, even if they sell at ₦50 per sachet, I doubt they will break even.
They owners too, are their not going to the same market to buy foodstuff, enter bus, pay school fees?
Omo, there is no business this apc goons are not killing right now.

The solution to this is simple. Just buy water purifier. There are of different capacities. Some are fitted to your tap at home, just like a small size cup screw to the mouth of the tap, while some come in form of a dispenser. It doesn’t require electricity. It purifies and filters any water, and turns the water into pure spring water or cway water.

Get a water bottle for the outdoor. You fill with your water from home.

I believe at this point some people are bent on sabotaging the government.
Why is everything getting so expensive,it seems Nigeria is now an extension of the United States.
Once the Naira falls to the Dollar, everything rises in Nigeria,I'm wondering how everything involved in the production of pure water is connected to the Dollar.
I believe it's time for Government to intervene and stop the sabotage.
Seriously,I don't think anyone should blame Asiwaju for what's happening in Nigeria,it shows the extent of decline on our nation.
It shows out total dependence on foreign countries for survival.
I say shame on our leaders,a big shame on them.
I implore Government to keep adding more taxes on all these imported goods,we must get to the point where we must begin to look inwards to survive.
If we can't produce ordinary nylon bags to package pure water and we have to also import the chemicals to purify the water, then I say Nigeria has a very serious problem.
For those who believe Asiwaju is the cause of this I implore you to have a rethink, why should we Ignore the bigger problem and focusing on the smaller ones.
God bless Nigeria.
Double tax on imported goods and increase in value of dollar caused it.

Lol. If we had sense in this country, private investors should build water projects and pipe treated water to homes and offices that are good enough to drink. Everyone should have water bottle to collect water and drink as needed. How many developed countries buy water in sachet? Imagine having so much water under the ground and being thirsty because of price of nylon. Smh
some of you are just brainless. How much do you think that company will be selling the water?
How much do you think water bottle will reach if the demand is high?

who are you going to blame? Tinubu was using dollar to pay the deligate that voted for him in the primary election.
The brainless man came and increase the prices of fuel, float the naira at the same time.
The worst thing to happen to this country is Tinubu.

And what would Obi would have done over pure water?

obi wouldn't have remove subsidy at once on his inauguration day. He would have sat down in his office for at least one month to study the backlash before removing it in stages.
Obi would have given dollar waiver to importers so that whatever they buy will be sold at a cheaper rate.
Tinubu is a disaster I swear.
